Last time I posted in here I was 246 that was March 16. I'm 236 now and still getting stronger. People that know me are now officially like :leon: :whoo:when they see me, they haven't seen me this slim in years.. Just some motivation for you guys/gals. 50lbs down in 12 weeks.

Another update. I'm 220lbs!! My goal was 215 before because I thought my abs will be showing by then but I think I gotta get down to at least 200-195...I still got a bit of stomach but in certain lighting I'm starting to see my abs take shape

I'm out to Miami in a couple weeks so I'm turning it up from now until then. The weekend I'm there I officially hit 6 months going as hard as I been. 65lbs down so far, this is week 21 for me!!

Update! So I decided to stop being a bytch and weigh myself and it turns out I haven't gained as much weight as I thought I did. I'm 218 and exactly where I was last month before I fell off which is good cuz I haven't gained any weight so false alarm I guess.

Low Carb Lemon Cream Tart – Very Good! (Gluten-Free & Keto)

This dessert is sugar-free, low carb, keto and gluten-free @ only 5.3 net carbs per slice.

You could make this recipe dairy-free by using coconut cream, and coconut oil in place of the cream and butter, but it will change the flavor.

Ingredients
Almond Crust
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 3 Tbsp coconut flour
  • 4 Tbsp unsalted melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 4 Tbsp powdered erythritol
Lemon Tart Filling
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1 cup of lemon juice (fresh)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup of butter cubed
  • [1 1/4 cups powdered erythritol (test your lemons if they are very tart, add more sweetener)
Instructions
Almond Tart Crust
  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Blend almond flour, coconut flour, powdered erythritol, and melted butter in a food processor.
  3. Add 1 egg and blend until the mixture starts to pull away from the side of the food processor bowl.
  4. You may need to add a Tbsp of water, depending on the dryness of your almond flour. If the mixture is not coming together, add the water.
  5. Form the tart crust into a disc and place it in the fridge for about 30 minutes. This makes it easier to handle.
  6. Roll out the dough between two sheets of parchment paper, adding a touch more almond flour if it starts to stick.
  7. Spread the tart dough out in your tart pan ( 9 inch round, 8-inch square, or 4.5x 14 rectangle) making sure to press into the side of the pan, and cover any holes that form while you're pressing. This takes a bit of patience, just keep pressing and spreading until your tart crust is spread evenly with no breaks.
  8. Pierce the crust with a fork and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden. Keep an eye out because almond flour tends to darken very quickly.
  9. Let the crust cool.
Lemon Filling
  1. Pour an inch of water into the bottom of a medium-sized saucepan and heat to a low simmer.
  2. Add eggs, egg yolks, lemon juice, powdered erythritol, and heavy cream into a separate heat-safe bowl.
  3. Place the bowl over the pot of simmering water and cook until the mixture coats the back of a spoon. This can take up to 15 minutes. Use a whisk and stir constantly while cooking to avoid burning.
  4. Once the mixture thickens, add the butter in cubes one at a time and whisk until fully melted.
  5. Add the filling to the cooled tart crust.
  6. Cool the dessert to room temperature.

I've been doing keto/low carb since Jan 17th. Not my first time doing it. I work out 6-7 days a week, the 7th day is just cardio and abs. I do intermittent fasting anywhere from 14-22 hours I like to mix it up but my body is accustomed to any kind of hours. I'm taking nitrotech protein, multivitamins,fish oil,bcaa,magnesium/potassium pills and strictly drinking a gallon of water a day EDIT: also cut out alcohol completely. First time I've gone this long since I started drinking at 16-17. I'm 33 now

Im 6'3. I was 283lbs in Jan 17, today I weighed in at 246lbs. Thats 37 lbs down in about 9 weeks. Still motivated and still going strong. Feeling stronger than ever, I know once I hit that 205 mark I'm going to look jacked. I was looking good at 224 about 3 years ago but im trying to go lower

Ok brehs, i havent been in here in a hot minute and just wanted to update you guys. 10 months in, im 206lbs!! i stopped doing full on keto and just switched to low carb at around 230lbs but i stuck to everything else like Fasting, no alcohol, training 6 days a week

I feel fukking amazing, my abs are like halfway exposed. I just gotta shed a couple more pounds and ima look SHREDDED

I didnt weigh myself on this scale when i was 285lb in janaury so my last recorded stats was in sep 2020 n i was at 268

No. A lot of veggies are high in carbs and relatively low in fiber.
The goal is to get plenty of fats, some protein and a minuscule amount of carbs.

Eggs, chicken, (no breading unless you do a low or no carb option. They have Panko crumbs made from pork rinds), fish, beef, pork, cheese (find one with 1 carb or less). Some veggies are good but you really have to get into reading labels and not assuming that just because something is meat it has no carbs. A lot of products are seasoned with sugars and you could find yourself thinking you’re not eating carbs and making no progress at all. The diet is easy and effective as hell when done correctly.

I’m not sure if this the right place for this, but I’m not exactly doing keto. I am aiming for 1 g/pound body weight protein though, and low carbs. How much y’all eating a day? 1 g/pound BW protein is low key a lot of food. I’m assuming y’all near this target in keto?

Keto “by the book” isn’t a high protein diet.
