Giving up bread, rice, ans pasta was hard but its not that bad.


Breakfast

Scrambled eggs w/ salmon
Uncured Turkey Bacon
Lettuce wrap

Dinner

Turkey chili
Bacon and brussells sprout

Not a lunch person

weed helps me avoid crashing

Did you keep it up

Brehs, eat chia seeds. It helped me alot.


  • More calcium than milk in 100g it has about 660mg of calcium (the RDA is 700mg)
  • 42g of carbs with 34g of fibre, which really means 8 grams of net carbs. Also, because you have eaten all of your fibre for the day you can add more protein and fats to your later meals.
  • Has lots of electrolytes.
  • high protein, talmbout 20g protein.
  • high in fats, but the mono and poly fats -- extremely low saturated fats and is high in omega fats
  • High in iron:blessed:
  • high in BCAA


I make a chia pudding most days



Chia Seed Pudding / 1,000 cals: :blessed:

  • 100g chia seeds/ 580cals
  • 400g organic coconut milk/ 130 cals (without the fortified vitamins since the chia already has enough calcium itself)
  • 20g zero calorie Sweetener (Erythritol based)
  • 100g blueberries/or strawberries (frozen is cheaper and more value)
  • 50g white chocolate. (optional but .... pure piff:ahh:)


-Mix that all together in a bowl, cover it and place it in the fridge overnight.



I'll eat that in two portions through out the day to quell my hunger pangs then have a third meal with meat and low carb/high fibre vegetables later in the day.


I've dropped 14 lbs of water weight in 7 days:wtf: just from restricting my net carbs. :ohlawd::blessed:

I thing that is hardest for me is to not think about eating fast food:francis:

Like clockwork at the end of the 2nd week my stomach is skruggling. I can feel something at the pit of my stomach begging for carbs -- then I cave in and eat sausage rolls and chicken wings:mjcry:. I'll do that for a 2days but staying in under my calories needed for damage control.

Started towards the end of May at 225 and am currently at 208. I would've been further along but I popped a rib in bjj so it set me back a little. Currently on my 3rd week of straight keto and it's been going great. Last time I quit after seeing I couldn't go as hard exercising.This time I just accepted that my performance will suffer and just work as hard as I can. Right now I feel really focused and can think a lot more clearly. Not trying to hype it up too much but I have noticed a complete shift in my thinking and behavior. Hope to hit 170 sometime in August.


Sometimes if you get really bad headaches it could be you don't have enough electrolytes or you need to drink more water. Sunflower seeds are my favorite way of getting extra salt.

Chia pudding, lentils, avocados and sunflower/olive oil... here I come. :blessed:

Fam, last year at the end of the 3 months I felt the best in years mentally. :wow:

Come on brehs, let's give it another go for 2019. I've just started this past weekend on the 12 of January and I plan to keep it up for the next 2-4 months.

Im making it a lifestyle from now on, not just a "diet"

I love it
I'm on this wave right now, pretty much OMAD for me. I have done both, but never keto+if for any length of time. Dropped about 10 lbs, much of it water but I'm sticking with it for a min of 3 months. Took a diet break in October and cutting carbs completely works for me rather than me trying to keep them in check especially after me enjoying the holidays.

Yeah I do OMAD all days part from leg day, ive experimented on myself and for me I dont have good leg sessions fasted, I know you can work on your energy from your fat stores but for me I work out better having broken my fast before leg workout

I def understand that. I can get by fasted based on my volume or I can use a few tbl spoons of natural PB to get by.
