Charlemagne said that Joe would fukk up the Complex thing within 6 months a long time ago. Major label, indie label, rap group, tv, relationships, podcast deals and all that. Joe is just too passionate, which is great but you have to know how to move in a room full of vaulters. And he’s guys probably advice him but his hot head gets into -mode by default.

what is mal bringing it on those little backroom speaking engagements? Probably not even equivalent to a club appearance for a love and hip hop star. Whats rory making off his music ventures? It's unproven. I could understand if they said part of Dussepalooza ( which isn't even running at this point)

this mostly effects joe and his other business ventures. Which haven't even been that wildly successful either. The most success joe has found post rap is the podcast, if they lose this they're back to being nobodies.

Doesn't sound like Spotify was dealing in good faith. Manipulated numbers in order to not give their bonuses.... wouldn't give time off....had Bill fukking Simmons calling to try and coax them to pod while Joe's dad was fighting COVID..... wanted to 360 them mufukkas.....dont have the metrics for folks that signed up using the JBP promo code . I get Joe's talk. I get it. They over-performed and now Spotify is trying to get a bigger piece. I wouldn't have signed that shyt either

Videos coming up on YouTube with no 2 day delay starting Sept 23rd.... potentially another deal somewhere else. Tough to have a deal on the table for millions and leave that shyt, especially when you don't have millions. If those numbers like how they say, Spotify may take a noticeable hit on the podcast side. We'll have to see

Hold on....Joe just said 20000 people listened to the first ever episode of the podcast last week. That speaks to something. And the move by Bill Simmons was some dikkhead shyt. I can only go off what Joe said, but if he called about a podcast while Joe's dad is struggling from COVID? Yeah, he deserves criticism
