The consultantation conversation was DISGUSTING.
I felt sorry for Ish, I’m sure he lost mad braincels arguing with Joe on that topic
:mjlol:

Joe Budden during the real estate pod:
Why don’t you put me on more often, this sounds fire :sadcam:
Ish: I do, but you don’t wanna listen

*Fast forward*

Ish: This is what a consultation is
Joe: No, it’s NOT
Ish: *Proceeds to read the definition and give countless examples of consultancy*
Joe: I don’t THINK it is, so you’re WRONG

nikka?!?!?! :mjtf:

If one of my nikkas woulda argued against LITTERAL FACTS of Business basics like THAT I’d tell ‘em let’s move forward cause you’re too STUPID to have this conversation.

Imaging having million dollar negotiations,
but not know and be able to identify consultancy SMH :dead:
I’ve fallen out with this one friend multiple times for responding just like that lol. He’s one of them ones that will never admit he’s wrong and will keep bending and twisting the argument until completely backed into a corner. Then he says who cares about this argument let’s move on to something else.

You just gave me PTSD. One of my closest friend is like this. Even when he complains about his wife, I agree with her side simply because I know his antics lol
He’s still my boy but I don’t argue with him. I just tell him and if he disagrees, :manny:

Not about to give myself high blood pressure

Yeah they were trippin with that whole "because there is no white version of Shade Room, black people think all white people have it good" shyt lol.

I think the majority of us know there's just as many trailer parks as their is "hoods" and etc. Niccas just joke with it and look at it like "fukk you doing with your privelege and headstart" and shyt lol.
Black ppl don't know that...hence why you hear white ppl do this with their investments

Bro all three of them started the pod together and agreed to split everything after expenses...The pod was alot better IMO with Rory and Mal and Joe...

You also dont know who was doing what behind the schenes how could you....There was a story of Rory talking to Sony or a label or something and wanted to set up a meeting with Joe and Joe spazzed on Rory...You talk like you lay down with them at night and know the truth about everything thats done...

Triller wanted the pod and told Joe to name his price and he didnt go for it...Mals face was like WTF...the last 30-50 episodes with them werent as good because there was mental trauma and unsolved issues....There was a period there when the pod was rockin when they were all in agreement...

Yeah. Everything I've seen from no Joe shows me that any ideas outside of what he envisioned for the pod, he stepped on them.

Why make the next nikka rich when I can do it myself?

Her production deal with 1501 Ent is done(which is who she's been fighting in court) I'm actually unsure what's happening with 300 Ent. They have a bad track record also so idk what this means overall for that relationship.

I will also say that her numbers for this album will likely affect whatever leverage she has for future deals.
She’s gonna sign her life away for large advance, just watch. Leverage wise she’s still doing 30mil streams a month so there’s def money to be made from her. But I’m leaning towards saying she’s never gonna have a truly big album and will spend the rest of her career chasing streams for the label. Next album will be like 25 tracks lol.

Well I hope she's smarter than that but when ppl see dollar signs they lose all good sense so you may be right.

Whats wrong with putting those guys on salary? They werent bringing in business. They were clocking in and out like employees. They werent even doing a good job too with how Joe was carrying them every episode.

Rory even had the nerve to ask for more money and ownership when they lost their Spotify deal and Joe was paying them more than they were making during the Spotify deal, out his own pocket. Again, he was asking for more money, when there was no deal, no ads, basically no money coming in (outside of YouTube). What kinda shyt is that?
This is flat out wrong.

Rory didn't ask for ownership after the spotify deal, he brought it up when they first drafted contracts and never brought it up again when Joe turned him down. He never asked for more money, him and Mal wanted whatever extra joe was willing to pay to go to staff. Rory did try bringing business to joe and joe shytted on him for it. He brought sponsors to joe and joe fukked it up because he didn't want to take the ads seriously.

Not taking those sponsors seriously in hindsight was probably Joe's biggest fukk up, he could have gotten a much better deal if he had a revenue stream to show potential business partners.

Joe likes to pretend that nobody was willing to help on the business side when in reality he didn't want anyone involved in the business.

Yes in hindsight my point is Joe didnt even discuss the offer with the other two OWNERS at the time...That was part of downfall added to it.
Owners?? How they owners and they got fired? What percentage did they own?

Y’all nikkas still tight over them nikkas getting fired but check for every episode :wow:

Nah man from what I remember from Joe's rants, Rory did ask for more money and ownership (he asked for ownership several times throughout the life of the podcast according to Joe), and that's what sparked the whole friction between them cause Joe turned him down and then Rory wanted to audit Joe. Mal just went along with Rory to show solidarity when Joe told him to take time off for all that passive aggressive shyt he was doing on the podcast.

You're right tho, Rory did bring that underwear brand deal to Joe and Joe fukked it up, but Joe always wanted these guys to start their own shows and do more substantial shyt. I doubt those sponsorships are his biggest fukk up lol. Those ad deals that every podcast has only get you a couple thousand at most for a podcast of Joe's size. Losing the Spotify deal and then going back for free is probably Joe's biggest L.

And I agree. Joe is definitely someone who wants full and exclusive control over the business. Just look at how he was micro managing Ish and Ice in that contract renegotiation episode.
