Yup. You have to remember that Meg was coming off of the Savage Remix(which went #1) the success of WAP AND Body was a hit for her also. She had the momentum going into that album release. With Traumazine it's the complete opposite. None of her singles have had the impact of those other ones and really could be casted as flops, therefore the excitement going into this album is muted.

Joe does not like confident women, as much as he tries to pretend. The reason he loves Cardi so much is because she actually acknowledges Joe, and sometimes even gives him props for helping her "succeed" (Whatever Joe is or isn't, he definitely was a "pillar" of the starlets/strip club community, lol). Joe feels way more responsible for her success as he has any right to feel, as he did practically nothing, but he also has "Main character syndrome", basically is a an extreme narcissist, and she is far more personable than all the other female artists.

This is facts and Joe has said it himself. He has joked that he cannot be with a "corporate" woman so he deals with and reveres escorts and strippers. And this is no shade to Cardi, but I do think Joe feels he's smarter than women like her and so those women are the ones he feels most comfortable with.

That’s because he’s searching for content and has to create narratives to get people talking. Ice is becoming better (I’ve binged listen to a lot of these recent episodes) but wtf is Ish’s purpose.

He listens to no new music, watches no new shows or movies and often times doesn’t do anything except hop on a joke Joe says.

Surf really should be a full time host but that ain’t happening.

They had a run from when Mal joined for like 100 episodes. But the last 100 episodes with them was terrible. Joe was carrying them, Mal became a complete weirdo painting his nails and talking about how no dairy will mitigate covid, and Rory was still insecure and annoying as ever.

Joe never REALLY liked Megan to begin with. Any initial support was clearly pandering so them having "an issue" is just how they've always felt all along(and yes the Tory shyt bleeds into that). That said, 50k is low for Meg. Her debut did 100k and as an artist in their prime this is a bit of a sophomore slump commercially.

Edit: I would also like to add that Joe NEVER actually cared about female rappers except maybe Cardi(she embodies the very type of woman he likes, tbh). Mal was the one who would bring them up and Joe had no idea what was happening ever.

50k is low for Meg. Very low.
