The pandemic discussion and not paying rent is not moral discussion. I understood Ish point, but I agreed with Surf and Joe more, they just didn't word it properly imo

The reason I wouldn't pay rent even with the extra 600 a week is because in a pandemic, I have no idea how long this is going to last and additionally, I don't know what the job market or the world is gonna look like when it's over. I'm going to be save up while I can, as long as I'm not breaking any laws. So if the government says I don't have to pay my rent during this time, then I'm not paying it. The landlord not being able to pay the mortgage sucks, but that comes with owning property. You take unexpected losses and you have to account for that whenever you invest into any business. That's not my responsibility as a renter, nor am I morally wrong for not paying rent when I'm not obligated to.

And also Surf had a point but he lost it because Ish took him off course. Same way if I lost a job, and I'm not getting an extra 600 a week for unemployment, I'm still obligated to pay my rent, and the landlord doesn't care that I can't and they're not morally wrong for still asking for their rent. I owe them, and if I don't pay, they have the right to kick me out. That's part of the responsibility of renting out a property is to pay for it.

I think what Ice was (foolishly) TRYING to say is that Durk's favorability rating >>> Durk's at the moment, and I can almost guarantee he's saying that because Cardi pulled him on a track with Ye, and because of Durk seemingly having mini stimulus pckg for people like Real Boston Richey where he hops on their song and causes their views to skyrocket to prob the most that artist has ever had.

Thing is, Lil Baby has the same effect when he wants to, and it's not like his phone has stopped ringing. Nicki pulled him in for 2 joints? Like her or not, she's still a name.

Dude thought Lil Baby & Durk were gonna get pulled in for features together forever or something like artists wanna pay double that bag lol. They are basing it on trajectory.

Baby had this moment where he was improving to a point everyone was noticing he was above the rest. I don't think that's saying durk is better or lapping, but Durk has been slowly building and always going up.

Baby still got the juice, but it looks liek when people need a street voice for a hit, durk is also contending at this point.

Both Baby and Durk are the go to feature hits in the industry and giving a lot of artist hits. Those Nicki songs were the most successful songs she’s had in years. Durk hopped on a Coi Leray song and launched her career into the mainstream

Durk solo songs are not touching Baby’s. Lil Baby had a legendary run of hits leading into My Turn and after it’s release. My turn is still in the top 15 of albums sold every week 2 years after release

Lil baby is probably selling 200k plus first week when he drops. Durk can’t touch that yet
