I disagree, I think people think "club records" do overwhelming well in Verzuz and they don't always. It's been proven. That's why people thought Fab could beat Kiss, Dips could beat the Lox, Nelly could beat Ludacris or thought 2 Chainz had a chance against Ross, and thought Fat Joe could beat Ja Rule, because they had more "club" and "party" records and they all got their ass kicked.
Right, it's not just about what's the bigger club record, it's also the performance of the actual music. There's also other shyt like song match ups but that's besides the point.
But a lot of these songs in Meeks catalog would simply perform better, since they're up tempo mixed with Meeks usual high energy, versus Coles catalog which is mostly a completely different type of music - usually a lot slower, more emotional/soulful. Cole is a good performer, but a lot of his catalog is wave your cellphone light in the air music.
This is why Meek might not have the bigger numbers, but his songs would sound way better next to Cole's in a verzuz. Songs like Power Trip, Workout, No Role Modelz would be embarrassing against Meeks trap shyt like I'mma Boss, Tupac Back and The Intro.
