Revenue (what Spotify was paying JoeWhich means all business regarding payments or whatever needs to be spelled out before a dollar of revenue is generated
If we're profit partners I need to see the profitsWhich means all business regarding payments or whatever needs to be spelled out before a dollar of revenue is generated
Semantics all I’m saying for there to be trust in any business between partners, everything has to be transparent and agreed upon beforehand. Trying to catch up once everyone starts seeing money leads to conflict and mistrust. If we're profit partners I need to see the profits
It's business
I mean he made them profit partnersSemantics all I’m saying for there to be trust in any business between partners, everything has to be transparent and agreed upon beforehand. Trying to catch up once everyone starts seeing money leads to conflict and mistrust.
I have partners in businesses and we each have our accountants look over the financials before we agree on any distributions of profits. And it’s spelled out in our contracts. All I’m saying is if business isn’t discussed in the front end, everything after will be messy.I mean he made them profit partners
It was agreed on
It's implicit that you have to know the profits
Buddens brought Mal into podcasting.
Mal never had a real job before and didn't know how expense reports are made and presented. Mal thinks he's been screwed out of thousands.
Now Mal is a podcaster and inks a multimillion dollar deal as a podcaster and is mad at the person who brought him into podcasting.
Buddens is a dirtbag but at the end of the day Mal got into this position by taking the side of an entitled white boy in an argument with his friend.
If you’re an original listener of the podcast, you know it was dead in the water before Mal became a full-time host. Everyone was tired of Marissa and Joe & Rory by themselves was awful. It was trash with no direction whatsoever.at mal thinking he popped off the podcast

People can say what they want, but Mal’s addition completely changed the trajectory of the show.
The podcast was floundering before Mal jumped on board. He’s far from the sole reason for its success or even the main reason but the dynamic between the three is what made the podcast get popping. I was a day 1 listener. Joe, Rory, Marissa combo was very meh. The highlights were Marissa telling her wild run ins with rappers. The Drake views rant got them some boost but it wasn’t sustainable. After Marissa left, the podcast was kinda just dead in the water until Mal came. These are factsat mal thinking he popped off the podcast
Facts. Before Mal came, and just Rory and Joe with the occasional guest host, was some dark times for the podcast. Mal addition was huge. Mal, at the time, brought the only relatable black person ever to the show. Plus early on his chiming in with funny comments carried a lot of segments. Eventually he turned into the “that’s crazy” guy without adding much discourse, but that wasn’t til later down the road. looking at it now, that could’ve been his discontentment with the show and his friendship with Joe.If you’re an original listener of the podcast, you know it was dead in the water before Mal became a full-time host. Still one of the craziest things I’ve ever heard and seen. No way I wouldn’t have beat the shyt out of Joe right their on the spot.“ I don’t have to respect my friends “
shyt was wild !!!
