But the poster you quoted said better. Not hits. Or money making abilities. Ya changing the standards of the argument

and based on kool grading system and scale, it doesnt make sense. Sure mystikal may have been a better performer or better with flows.

But thats it. Everything else, Nas washes him.

I turned off the pod when joe was caping for AB by insinuating ish and ice where tap dancing. Kind of remedial arguing technique is that? Joe can really be an idiot and try hard when making an asinine point.

Yeaa im changing the argument simply because im trying to understand from Kool Moe perspective why he would put Mystical there :russ:. Just shooting a lil bail

Sound sound sound
No disrespect to Andre 3000, but the dikk eating has to stop.

It’s ridiculous

yea you hear his verse on the Kanye song is great…in the context of the song and as a music piece

but that shyt can easily be beat as a VERSE as far as in the moment reaction or performance

Outkast is the goat group…and has probably the goat catalogue in my opinion…fabs albums are trash…and he still could hold his own against Dre in the verse versuz format they are referring to

I maintain that Andre 3k is largely overrated because New Yorkers decided they needed one non-east/west coast rapper to round out their top ten list and settled on him. Same way New Yorkers will blindly say The Score is a classic album when they either didn't heard it or can't name 3 songs from it. Solely because The Source told them it's a classic and he did a classic track with Jay/Kanye/Beans.

Ask these people to name an Andre verse they think it's top ten worthy. They can't. Hell the brilliance of the Kanye track is that it gave them the answer to that question. Now they get to say "oh man did you hear that verse on the Kanye record?" East coast frauds.

I like Andre, don't get me wrong. But Andre and Scarface are thrown onto lists by NYers so they seem more cultured than they really are. I've never met one who can actually name Andre verses that stuck out to them (beyond the Kanye one, and International Players Anthem).

If you're from the south and Andre is in your top ten that's different. Those people clearly fukk with him. I'm saying a lot of people are fronting and don't know Outkast music like that, outside the south.

Joe was right when he said 3k is viewed as a goat because his persona extends past music

scarface
3k
Lauryn hill

those 3 have always been the east coast hiphop head cliche rappers to bring up to show that they don’t have bias
