I don’t remember nothing from Nas in 98 like that. If just based on 98. Hell yeah Mystical was better. Can’t speak for other cities. But in Detroit unpredictable is a fukkin classic and was blasted in every speaker

Obviously if you were listening to mixtapes Nas in 98 and early 99 before I Am was in god mode. But if you weren't listening to mixtapes, and weren't in NY? I can def imagine Nas not being on somebody's radar at the time.
