Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
Yup, florida is cracking down thats why I had to fight with the city :smh: My crib isn't huge (1900sf) so I didn't need many panels. It didn't cost much and I love the fact that I can have electricity whenever :win: Once the install is finished I'm getting one of these Tesla Powerwall

You mean that after hurricanes you'll still have power?

If so, refer me to your supplier...

The trees from the house behind me are hanging over my yard to the point one branch is about 3 feet from the back window. To put into perspective, it's so long, it hangs over the entire stretch of my backyard. I'm pretty sure it's a section 8 house, and the owner owns the two houses on either side, because he put his boats in the yard. Do I have to have them cut myself, or is that a violation, and can the city send them a notice?

It's over your property so just trim it yourself

Trying to get that rental income huh :myman:

You don't mind strangers that close to your crib?
I do. But my mom's done it for 10+ years with no problem.

I'm still gonna have my privacy, tbh. They won't be anymore in my business than my regular neighbors. My house is on a pretty big lot so I'll still have a bunch of yard left over.

And we're gonna plant some privacy hedges so in about 6 months I won't even see them.

And lastly, I told myself I wasn't gonna let my pride or arrogance get in the way of the money. There's no shame in having other ppl help you pay the mortgage

Got me nice home built from a custom builder 2 years ago, after selling my townhouse. Now, that Im thinking more about finances, retirement, and investments, I really want to downgrade to something I can easily afford a 15 yr mortgage on. Still weighing my options tho, but I think I am going to pull the trigger and sell within the next year.

Anyone (without obvious answer real estate agent) know how I can find a property with multiple (looking for at least 4-6) garage spaces. All the sites seem to be trash or at least the method I am approaching this with.
Real estate agent keeps pointing me in the direction of 2 garage with 2 shyt detached or 3 garages.

I don't mind if it's long garage (fine with 2 separate garage doors), just need to be able to fit 4-6 cars

Sold my previous house. Today will be my last day here. Staying with my girlfriend for the mean time.

Do so, we are in a current bubble at least up here North East of the country
I just sold my house for a very nice profit from what i bought it for but it needed a little fixing when I first bought it. Fully agree, your mortgage should realistically take you 10-15 years to pay off. People are living too large; far above their means.

Yea, were going through a nice little bubble down here too. Purchased it at about $131 per sqft and realtor saying he expects it can go for some where in between $142-$146. That will be a nice lil chunk of change if/when I go through with it.
