Basically my home value is discounted by up to 50k when calculating my property taxes..

If I see one on Zillow do I gotta pay the amt that if got foreclosed for or is there always an auction?

This current market is going to force me to down size or most likely look somewhere else. Can't make sense of paying 23% more on average for properties compared to 1-2 years ago. I shouldn't be complaining seeing that I sold my residential home for about 30% more than I originally paid without including cost of upgrades and fixes.

Maybe I should just build like my father has suggested. Anyone have experience in building their own house?

I'm doing an apartment in my backyard out of shipping containers...These nikkas gon be done in a few months. It genuinely seems easy for them. You just gotta know what you're doing.

The hardest part is getting the permits and architectural work done.

there's plenty of guys that work for the companies but do it on the side...

Maybe call one out to get an "estimate" and tell the breh to come back on his own time and you'll pay him direct.

I'm in the process of converting my Single into a multi family ...

Hopefully in 5 or 7 years the mortgages will be paid off and I'll stop working
