Anyone here have solar panels? Any radical changes to your bill?
My boy has some....They're hooked up to the major appliances like the refrigerator, AC, Water heater ect... his electric bill is about 45 bucks now, down from the high 180's :ehh:

I dont like how bulky the "cells" that hold/store the power are other than that it seems like a solid investment.

Thank you. If things go as planned, I may consider investing in some. My house is small so I think I could see some significant changes to my bill.

The Comfort Zone

:pacspit:

Nah just playin' actually I'm over it. In hindsight, I got caught up in the "sexiness" of it. I should make a better investment that can net me a real profit down the line or keep in the family. Even though the unit was :noah: the financial health of the building is actually a mess. Half of the units are either severely underwater or in foreclosure, they have very little reserves and HOA dues kept creeping up. They HOA doesn't meet at all :dahell: Surely it will need capital improvements soon and it would have caused me headache. I deleted pics of the actual unit but here is a pic of another unit to give you an idea.

So I threw my hat in the bidding for a few single and multifam units. We'll see how it goes :lupe:

Really, how much are they if you include installation cost?

My mom got some and only pay around 45$ a month whereas she was paying around 90-125$ before. Another bonus about solar panels is it increases the value of your property. It's definitely a good investment and the process is easy and fast.
