How often do you homeowners entertain?

I ask because I watch house hunters on HGTV a lot and people always are talking about entertaining and have guest over.

I do it a lot, almost every other week for groups of like 5 - 10 people (boxing matches, ufc matches, card night ) and probably every other day I have at least a couple of people over hanging out, mostly women.

In the summer it goes up slightly, have weekly bbqs and planning on doing karaoke this summer

I like it that way cause I mostly hate going to other people's houses lol

:mjcry: my water heater needs replacing too, joint 22 years old
get a GE hybrid water heater breh. your utility company might even offer a rebate. easy to install like a traditional water heater as well. costs about $195 (less for me because i don't even need hybrid mode in florida, straight heat pump) a year to run compared to like $500 for traditional ones.

Im loving the new crib :ahh:

Gotta get lawn equipment this weekend
i strongly recommend the 80v battery kobalt line at lowes. not having to pull start your mower or power head and store gas is awesome. i have the mower, the power head with a trimmer attachment, also a universal edger, hedge trimmer and blower attachments and a chainsaw + 5 80v batteries. i actually love doing yard work now. and in the summer time i can cut the grass early in the morning or when the sun goes down and not violate any rules because it doesn't make any noise and my neighbors don't even know i'm out there.

that gas smell is a bytch man. i just hate storing gas too. right now the only yard equipment that i have that uses gas is my pressure washer and i just go and buy a gallon when i need to clean something and pour what's left in my neighbor's gas can. even my generator is now propane.

the thing is i absolutely love the smell of gas at the gas station though.

I'm in my second house now, and my home and my fathers house before mine have always been the central gathering place for our friends and family.
I guess I picked up his personality.

Like if there's a 2 week span where no one is over to visit or hang out it's weird. We host christmas dinner at most summer cookouts at my house.
Plus my friends and I still commit to a weekly Poker/drinks/shyt talking kickback and we rotate between mine and two other guys houses. Sometimes it's just the 4-8 of us, sometimes wives and kids too.

Stuff like Christmas, Bears season opener, Birthdays we have 30ish people over and our house is far from giant. I still have dreams of a house with a GIANT great Gatsby style parlor room where I could host 50 people lol.
