i ran out of money before i could finish my basement i'm gonna have to do it eventually once we have 3rd kid though, gonna need the space.
good luck w all the work brehMines is partially done now. I had to pull up the carpets because they got damaged. Gotta put in new floors and paint the walls and it'll be back to normal. I want to get everything done this year, it's just expensive as fukk
Once everything is done though, the value of my house is gonna go way up.
congrats!
soft close is money, def worth it. post some pics after you're done.
i usually say that in most of the RE threads in here, it's hard not but you need to detach your emotions from the bidding process. of course the house is where you plan to raise your family etc, but until you close it's solely a business transaction. plus things usually work themselves out, and you will likely be happier in the house you actually end up in and look back on this one without regret.
Bout 4, 8 channel Amcrest 720p security cameras off Amazon. Getting them hooked up right now
Just recently got some living room furniture and getting my tv soon so got to protect my investments. Don't live too far from the hood
All I need is a strap and I'm set
THIS is literally the ONLY feature my kitchen is lacking. I mean I got a damn garbage disposal and not that for crying out loud.
this is something I HAD to keep tellin my wife. we have lost out on houses that we really wanted, but I kept telling her, that houses are like women. if you lose out on one, there will certainly be a better one later on.
the house I originally wanted cost like 70K more than the one we got. but it was smaller. only advantage was the neighborhood. however, my immediate neighborhood where we eventually moved to ended up being EXCELLENT, plus the house was cheaper, and it had more BR's and square footage with a deck in the backyard and MUCH closer to public transportation.

I dont know if I could do that. I need some kind of city to pop into.We just moved in August coinciding w start of wife's job. Gotta be somewhat close to Yale for her.
Everything here is a suburb, it's weird not having a metropolis that all the suburbs orbit. Just little/midsized towns sprinkled around.
Definitely need a big house for in laws and guests, and they are on the market in abundance at decent prices, we're being picky tho.
My friend left Charlotte a year ago, it seemed like that city was ready to bubble when I visited back in like 2014 around this time

I'm a 90 minute drive from midtown NYC, 40 minutes from Hartford and maybe 2 hours from Boston. So I'm not that remote.I dont know if I could do that. I need some kind of city to pop into.
