I really need help on how to kill Moles and Gophers. Sadly, my cute little friends Mr. and Mrs. Chipmunk.

I can not take them anymore -- and I hate them with a passion.

This is going to be my third summer trying to kill them (or just make them move) -- and they refuse to leave.

They have tore up my backyard -- and are now on the side of the house.

I have tried:
Juicy Chewing Gum
Castor Oil
Flares
Pellets/Bait
Irish Fresh Soap

I am gearing up to try:
Marshmallows
Pinwheels (some people are saying the decorators works)
Gas in the holes
PineSol (Lemon)

And if worst come to worse - I guess I am going to buy some traps -- or hire a company to come set traps.

Any advice?

Traps and reolcated or trap and killed is the only way your getting rid of them. Dont waste money on anything else.

Hey can anyone help me? I finally paid off my car, I'm ready to move out and get my own place but honestly I do not have a clue how to do this. Can anyone help me based on the following information?

-I am a single black male, no wife, GF, or BM.
-I make over $60k a year
-Don't like the idea of just throwing away money paying rent every month. I would like to own something. Most likely cannot afford a house, I'm thinking of like a condo or a co-op?
-I live in NYC and would like to stay in NYC

Is there a site I can go to that will give me all the information I need? I am completely ignorant to anything regarding buying a property. Its similar to buying a car where as I would need money to put a down payment, but I would also need the bank to approve a loan for me?

Thanks in advance.

do you care about investment or re-sale value? if you do , stay away from condos or co-op's. But being that your in NYC that might be your only option.

Hmm I guess I do care about re-sale value, because eventually if I do get married and have a family we would need a bigger spot right? So much to learn, I'm gonna do research after work.

For the brehs who have sold before..how much was your home value compared to the estimates from sites like realtor and Zillow? Big different or not off by much?
I'm interested in knowing aswell. I purchased my home 4 years ago and based on those sites my house is worth $65k more than what I purchased it for and it doesn't take into account the upgrades I done to it..

Finally used the new mower yesterday and I don't know how I've been living without a self-propelled mower for so long. The way it was dragging me around that lawn, picking up pace, getting it done!!! I had to stop to put more gas in and I was legit out of breath. My grass looks good though. Weed and Feed came through! I'm so happy the weather is getting nice! I want to build some raised beds this year.
My refinance is looking damned nice out here. Went from paying $2035 per month down to $1315 per month.:wow:

This was through Navy Federal.
That's what's up! Sounds like you re-amortized for another 30 years unless you had a high interest rate to begin with. It doesn't matter if you plan on paying your mortgage off early, but if you're going by the payment schedule, be careful of refinancing because you start the loan terms over again.

If you want to take your lawn care to the next level i highly recommend this course

He has a bunch of youtube vids that basically give you most of the info on here for free, but this is more well put together/ all in one place type of deal. I started taking some of his advice last year and am going all in this year with his products

Mine is about 6000 sq ft.

Edit: I was watching the videos and too late on the weed and feed. :sadcam: I’m gonna keep watching and implement next year, but do some of his other suggestions too. I’m gonna grab some organic fertilizer.
