It’s weed and feed season :blessed: Going to look at options today and get a seeder...I think that’s the name.

I’m also getting a self propelled mower this year, Briggs and Stratton engine, no oil change, and power stow...folds down compactly.

Last year, I found a quicker way to get my grass cut but my mower died before the last cut of the season. Im hype for a new one.

For the brehs who have sold before..how much was your home value compared to the estimates from sites like realtor and Zillow? Big different or not off by much?

Just set a reminder to call someone tomorrow to remove these damn crab weeds that are growing between my new yard/sod. Any idea how often I’ll need to have them visit? Also, is it cheaper to find someone that cuts too?

I tackle lawn maintenance on my own, so I'm not sure. From what I read you can customize your package of course more services will run you more money, but for about $60/month you can get a basic package. Again, this is all shyt I've googled so I'm no expert.

Usually I only have to weed/feed once a year around this time before Spring hits. I will also treat the lawn for pests around May or so.

As far as cuts go, the least I'll do is 2 cuts a month and at most 4. I've had someone cut my lawn before and they charged $40 (I have about 6000 sq. ft. of lawn), so for me it would be like $80-$160/month for cuts. I don't mind cutting grass, so I'd rather pay with my time than actual money in that aspect. However, I may look at a company to do the weeding and stuff.

I’m looking to buy a place next year people. I’m saving money well and am looking to up my income. Will just be a little 2 bd apartment with a ~30min train or tram commute.

We haven’t had a lot in my family but I really feel it’ll help me get another level of focus and stability.

just 6 or so months of saving more and I can hit up financing. I’m actually very nervous about this but damn I want something to leave my kids when I have them.

Now is the time to sell, not buy.

2-3 years from now the housing market will look like it did in 2008 and 2009. Foreclosures everywhere and banks desperate to dump them. That's when you buy, rent them out to cover the mortgage for 4 years, and then we're right back in a bubble and you sell. Wash, rinse, repeat.

you still feel this way?

I really need help on how to kill Moles and Gophers. Sadly, my cute little friends Mr. and Mrs. Chipmunk.

I can not take them anymore -- and I hate them with a passion.

This is going to be my third summer trying to kill them (or just make them move) -- and they refuse to leave.

They have tore up my backyard -- and are now on the side of the house.

I have tried:
Juicy Chewing Gum
Castor Oil
Flares
Pellets/Bait
Irish Fresh Soap

I am gearing up to try:
Marshmallows
Pinwheels (some people are saying the decorators works)
Gas in the holes
PineSol (Lemon)

And if worst come to worse - I guess I am going to buy some traps -- or hire a company to come set traps.

Any advice?

Hire a pest control service and stalk their technique.

This shyt is frustrating as fukk to install. The lights come with damn near 5 ft cords that are "adjustable " but if you adjustable and try to put the fixture on to the back plate, it will not go on because you got all that fukking wire being stuffed in there and the screws stick out about a damn inch. So what you have to do is cut all the cords then reattach them into the wire nuts. You think those weak ass instructions tell you that???? fuuuuucccckkk no. shyt it's 2021 there should be YouTube videos uploaded on how to install they're products.

Hey can anyone help me? I finally paid off my car, I'm ready to move out and get my own place but honestly I do not have a clue how to do this. Can anyone help me based on the following information?

-I am a single black male, no wife, GF, or BM.
-I make over $60k a year
-Don't like the idea of just throwing away money paying rent every month. I would like to own something. Most likely cannot afford a house, I'm thinking of like a condo or a co-op?
-I live in NYC and would like to stay in NYC

Is there a site I can go to that will give me all the information I need? I am completely ignorant to anything regarding buying a property. Its similar to buying a car where as I would need money to put a down payment, but I would also need the bank to approve a loan for me?

Thanks in advance.
