Brehs in Georgia (THo, other electrical companies in other states may be doing this too)

If you have ever been interested in NEST smart thermostat for your home and have Georgia Power for your electricity service check your email ASAP. Their Georgia Power marketplace has them on sale + an instant rebate which brings the whole thing down from $250 to $179 and then to $104.

The other model also down from $179 to $139 to just $69. Just make sure to click APPLY REBATE at checkout to bring it down from $179 to $104 or $139 to $69.

BTW any of you brehs and brehettes doing home-automation stuff?

I've been replacing some of the light switches and dimmers at my place and after 6+ months i'm loving it. There are various models out there selling for anywhere between $36 to $55 a pop.

However the one i went with is the EUFY model which works great, allows you to set schedules for when the lights turn on and off (all through a phone app) is easy to install and doesnt require a hub. A lot of models require you to buy a hub to control them which is another $80. With Eufy you only buy the switch use the app, period.

And here's the kicker, clones. Them shyts are on sale right now on Amazon for $19.99 a pop.

Thought i'd share this. I already have 3 installed in my house but honestly i only used them to replace the switches that control the outside flood-lights and front door and back porch. I travel a lot so i need to have a way to set the lights to come on and go off when i'm away.

Gonna order some more and install them at my mom's place for her.

Lining up a new gig this month. Gonna spend January working on a refi on my current property, cleaning up my credit again (I got sloppy during these past four months of not working :francis: ), consolidating my student loans, putting all my old 401k’s into my investment account...hoping that by next summer, I can line up everything to purchase my grandma’s house from my mom.

i haven't done any home automation because i'm not really into it like that ... yet. the situation you described about traveling a lot is the same as mine, but for controlling those lights i just have dusk to dawn bulbs on my front porch and and back patio. my flood lights are motion activated. and my best security protection is my 8mp 4k security cameras and i can watch my house in ultra hd from my phone.

greenworks 40v with two batteries (it can hold two at once)

I also have the snow thrower and the pole saw

the mower will be the 1st one I actually put to the test as I hate cutting grass and let that shyt get way to long

my black and decker leaf blower recently gave out so looking to pick up a new one of those

We should be closing on our home in a few weeks and our realtor(family friend) has done very little since we signed the contract:snoop:

I speak to the builder and sales consultant weekly and she'll text me or call me days later telling me everything they already told me earlier that week. I want to ask for some of that money back at closing tbh.
