I've started saving for a downpayment. What is the best way to save? I read a couple articles that say you should just leave the money in a high yields savings and not invest but I did the math and I would only earn around $3500 in interest over the course of 5 years at 1.9 APY. Some people have said to invest the money or do a CD ladder. What did you guys personally do to save?
if your avi is you and your partner/husband then what about a VA loan? those don't have PMIs and don't require a down payment.

Installing solar panel 2nd week of October - I use a lot of power due to several computers/servers running in my house and cryptocurrency mining.

Anything I should know about maintenance etc?

Just sold my 3 unit rental in 36 hours :mjlit:. That Boston market is :ohlawd:. Decided I didn't want to be a landlord no more and need to focus on my business. T

Good shyt! Congrats.

Multi made alot of sense for me. The key is to find a 3 unit:blessed:. The prices wont be that much more than a 2 unit and you still use a standard mortgage. The extra unit no matter the size real improves income numbers.

Also if you can find one near a college/university you can make a killing with college kids :wow:. they don't complain you can get their parents on the lease so payments is never a problem.

Good luck!

Anyone in here got a rental property on AirBnb? I just listed one of our properties.

What should I look out for, just got a reservation coming in 2 weeks.

Tell a woman who has been to almost four dozen countries to "do some traveling" brehs :mjlol:

You think I don't know that? I work in NYC. I don't want that kind of commute (anything past Newark Penn Station).

woow so hostile :picard:
48 countries well look at you doing your thing:mjgrin:

I meant finding a multi-unit property outside of new york. This quote of yours (below) is why I assumed you were looking to buy a place where you wouldn't live at with tenants.

You can find an entire block in Philly for the cost of some multi units in the city :scust:

I tried to simply buying a bodega, those new york prices should be illegal, fukk new york real estate. :russ:
