I'm pretty certain we'll end up getting one, but it just seems odd in this day and age...

yeah i have one and a cordless phone system too. it's google voice ($20 to permanently port the number to google voice) and a obihai 200 (paid around $31 on amazon a few years ago) and i pay 10 or $12 a year for e911 service with anveo. so it only cost me $50 up front and $12 a year to maintain a number i've had since i got my first place out of college. You guys get a home phone number?

i always get it from lowe's. some financial experts believe it's smarter to just put that money you would spend on the warranty in a savings/investment account and pay for repairs that way. i consider myself financially smart, but that's a bit too much for me. i'd rather just pay lowe's that extra and when something happens i call them and they send someone out. has worked just fine for me so far. it seems like at least once a year i have to call them. one year i had to call them like 4 times because everything fukked up one after the other from the sheet metal that makes up the dryer drum tearing. door latch breaking. heat regulator.Y'all got appliance insurance?
Thinking of getting it, just wanted y'all's take on it.
I pay $95 a month for HOA and they dont do shyt but complain. Buy a single family house take that Hoa fee and put it towards your mortgageBecareful with those HOA fees, make sure they aren't outrages and compare between the ones in your area
Not everyone wants the headache of full home ownership and I would agree on that if I didn't need the extra garage space.I pay $95 a month for HOA and they dont do shyt but complain. Buy a single family house take that Hoa fee and put it towards your mortgage
Maybe but my HOA doesn't do any of thatNot everyone wants the headache of full home ownership and I would agree on that if I didn't need the extra garage space.
HOA fee can be more beneficial than paying 10K to replace a roof or ac unit
What Hell no what's the point then fukking grassMaybe but my HOA doesn't do any of that
