Crazy, I just started my trip down that "dreaded" road... Only day 2 and my hair is itching like mad.

No lie, I keep dandruff like the alps. I have to wash my ish every day and keep it oiled/greased.... And I'm starting to think this dread thing aint gonna work out. I hate flaking...

I'ma try to drink plenty of water and see if that helps but I been fighting dandruff since elementary and still losing. Might check out a dermatologist just to get some more suggestions.

Edit: @ANewClassic I can't even see your face and I'm already in love.

That hair is soooo :noah:

I've heard that too, tried it a bit and the results seems about the same so I just went back to washing it everyday pretty much

I'm usually good if I use

I usually wear my hair in a twist out or a bun. I flatiron like every 2-3 months to self-trim my ends. Similar to Inno, I use the Organix Coconut Shampoo. I also use Giovanni Olive Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. S-curl no drip is my primary moisturizer and I seal with a mix of EVOO and Coconut oil. I recently decided that I will protective style 5-6 days a week for the next few months. I am trying to reach waist length and wearing my hair out has stalled my progress :sadcam:

Resy told me to participate. I'm bunned out this week, but I'm due for a wash Sunday night and I'll post pics then  Don't judge my thin ends, I'm long overdue for a trim.

No lie, those dandruff shampoos will crisp and break your hair within just one wash, the chemicals in them are created to take layers off. Stay far far away.

Besides what people posted, for dandruff you can also try to mix tea tree oil with a little jojoba and rub it into your scalp before your wash (you can do it post wash too, but you'll be smelling like tea tree oil). I promise you will see patches disappear in a few days.
