I started my loc journey back in spring 2011,
It's been growing very fast and well since then,
Every time I'm out in public and lady comes up to me and touch them.
:ahh:
There's nothing like a free head rub.

I use these products pictured above.
My hair gets washed and conditioned every 2-3 weeks.
I get my loc's retwisted immediately after the wash.
Due to my bloodlines,
My hair looks nappy,
But it is really soft to the touch.
Gels disagree with my hair texture.
I would advise all,
Not to use gels and apply them to your loc's.

This is an old picture of me back when I had a bald fade.

Id always recommend growing for at least 6 months to a year before starting them. I grew out my hair for 18 months and did the whole braids thing when it was acceptable (back in 2005-06) before I locked it up. I felt I waited a little too long. to start em.

Anyone using Murray's is goin want to kill themselves after 6 years or so. You won't initially notice the buildup but its there. Same for any type of cream product cuz it probably has petroleum in it. Lol at anyone saying they have healthier hair...with dandruff problems :dead:

You're an idiot, as stated before. If you really must know I started this set from being practically bald. I like the nappy look therefore I use the neglect method as these white people like to call it. Just cuz your hair is longer than mine doesn't meant shyt. I've had dreadlocks longer than almost everyone in here, anyone from SOHH can tell you that. Yes, having dandruff patches means something about you is unhealthy. I tried being nice to your stubborn ass but you always take to something like a threat. Anyways drink MORE WATER and make sure to not eat a lot of greasy foods and those patches will go away. Another reason is from the products you use but that's another story for another time.

Peace
