i got the same problem. its not bad...but its there. i would like to wash my hair more often....but i only latch my hair every other month and i be trying to make it stretch. i hate when my roots look fuzzy and nappy...i work in a professional setting so i need my shyt to look well maintained.

you been in it 6...i been in it 4. what kinda advice you got? whats your regimen look like? what kinda products you use and for what purpose? what you wear on your head at night?

I have dandruff spots i hate that shyt :birdman:
3 spots on my head just fukking flake for no reason :sadcam:

once my hair is a little less fresh i'll try what @ANewClassic recommended.

I have pretty nice hair so it stays soft regardless .

Use the mango lime twist gel to do my hair .

I use to use the shampoo that shyt was trash it dried my hair out so bad :damn:

Currently using lock a fella but its ok but i miss this shampoo my homie use to supply me from the saloon.

I've been through it all breh thinning locks and all :snoop:

I get my hair done about every 2 maybe 3 months and so far thats has helped keep it healthy. Once the frizz start i wash my hair and grease my scalp which i think makes my dandruff worst but i cant help it i hate flakes.

Like @KenyaDoll, I usually wear my hair in a twist out or a bun. Mostly a bun or shaking it out and letting it do what it wants lately because I've been lazy. I don't straighten my hair all that often, prob every 3-6 months. Newly natural soooo, I'm still working on getting a consistent regimen. I shampoo with Shea Moisture Curl and Shine shampoo, use Matrix Biolage Hydratherapie leave-in creme/Aussie Hair Insurance leave-in, and Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie. My hair hates gels, so I'm currently on the market for something to give me hold.

You and your hair are so gorgeous. I love the "wilder" look in the very top pic.

Myself. fukk 12(1)!
I wear my hair in a bun most of the time, cause I don't feel like dealing with it. I don't have a regimen, because I'm lazy. I wash it, condition it, and oil it; that's about it LOL

Various styles I've worn on my hair (I'm natural):

Bun

Drinking more water is the main factor, and cutting out bullshyt products out of ya regimen too. That locafella stuff is trash...anything with petroleum in it is death to the scalp.

at someone dissing the products i use with shorter hair and locks in far worst condition than mine.

1 my hair is super healthy you can tell from the pics.

I've come a long way i probably only had a couple thin locks but they bothered me i had to get em doubled up.

One thing i can be thankful for locks are they've made my hair thicker.

I have very very soft but thin hair not balding just thin.

Shampoos dont really take the texture from my hair unless they have alcohol which seems to dry my hair.

I have dandruff but its not all over my head its in 3 stops and that shyt is annoying as fukk.

Get some Shea butter & some Jojoba oil. Not the fake shyt at ya hair spot but the natural stuff. Like I said before drinking enough water is a main factor. For those with advance cases need to change their PH balance (can be done with a diet change)

Nice thread! my hair is a little past my bra strap in the back. I recently had a few inches cut off to make long layers and to even out my ends. I'm relaxed and wear my hair in buns most of the time because I'm lazy and hate to do my own hair. I've recently made a personal vow to get my hair professionally done at least once a month so I can wear it out regularly. I've had my hair out everyday for a month straight so far ( except for 2 days) I think I'm doing pretty good.
