The First Avenger is not good at all
I was thinking the guy who makes the John Wick movies needs to do the Ninja Turtle movies. But James Gunn would be a great choice too. And probably much better for the commercial sucess and being enjoyable for kids. I just want some real action and real ninjas. Tone would probably be the opposite of what Gunn would do though
it was actually decent. and is much better upon rewatch after seeing where the rest of the series went.
Guardians 2 is just trash all around.

I liked it. Well done origin story that endeared you to the character. Something they were never able to do in the comics for me at least.
I’d put TFA on the same tier as Vol. 2. The stories didn’t wow me, but I’m also not rolling my eyes at it if I wanted to watch it again on FX or Disney+. I don’t think either trilogy has a bad movie honestly.

James Gunn can actually say anything he wants since he works at DC now...if I was him I'd say "in canon, the groot we're seeing now is a clone of the previous one...groot has been dead since guardians 1. This is Grewt, a totally different person." or "Starlord is a Skrull, 100%, and has been since Guardians 2. He never got blipped back."

Outside of the Gewt name, this is actually true. James Gunn or one of the other writers confirmed that the Groot that grew in the pot is a different Groot, the adult Groot from GOTG did die.
I watched it last night on some edibles 
this is the first marvel movie in like 3 years that i can look back on and not think, "man, maybe that wasn't very good." i'm still holding off on re-watching No Way Home and Wakanda Forever, b/c i know damn well i'm gonna think it didn't hold up on a rewatch
