they went ahead and took the 10 place penalty to replace parts on Sainz car. There's not gonna be a battle for the championship this year. Ferrari shot themselves in the foot

What's going to be interesting is that it seems like there are going to be a lot of drivers eating penalties in the second half.

All they need is to reinforce the front axle, set brake bias to the front for the start, and whatever happens happens :demonic: . They aren't out of it yet :troll:

Ferrariā€™s pace thus far this weekend is good enough for Sainz to still end up on the podium from anywhere on the grid IMO. Heā€™s finally figured that car out and they brought a big floor upgrade.

Leclerc will fight for pole as usual.

If he has then I think Ferrari may actually have a shot at one of the championships this year. On Reddit they were grumbling about RBR bringing updates that brought the car more towards Verstappen's driving style, and away from Checo's. If the gap between them starts and continues to widen, it becomes large enough for Ferrari to park Sainz in there and have some strategy options (for them to fukk up) for the rest of the year. But Sainz needs to stay in touching distance.

Got a long way to go.

Iā€™m not sure if Ferrari will win, but they have a shot if the engine stays together.

Verstappenā€™s long runs were in a different league. :damn:

Ferrari gotta tighten up. Mercedes looked good. Closer to Ferrari than usual.
