I wish i undestood this shyt but ive no idea what any of yall are saying.
Nah not just the car itself. The driver, nor the team, are allowed to adjust the suspension while the car is "live". For instance, a driver can't adjust the ride height from the car, nor can the team remotely from pit. Of course, the car can't be programmed to do it either. The workaround here is essentially in it's branding. It's not adjusting suspension, it is "steering". Mercedes figured out a way to get the camber to adjust to the the function of the steering wheel, probably in a way that defines it more as "steering the front wheels on a different axis" than adjusting toe-in camber. The main idea is to reduce drag on the straights and the by product is improved tire wear.
Iām guessing it passes the rulebook because āactiveā suspension is probably defined as the suspension being adjusted by the car itself.
Iām impressed because its a relatively simple solution.
After 180 laps on the first day of on track testing. Tis' nothing.Hmmm, electrical issue that the end there....
Stick around long enough and it'll start making sense.I wish i undestood this shyt but ive no idea what any of yall are saying.
Just need to implement Triple Axis Steering now but only use 2 axesDAS banned for 2021, but Mercedes can use it this season
