It's very interesting. Maybe I'm being a stan-- but Lewis has still been the more exciting driver to watch this season. The mistakes are glaring-- but I also think about the inverse. He was rapidly catching Max on the drying track at Imola, what if he wins that race? What if he doesn't bump the brake magic button at Baku? What if Merc doesn't flub the strategy at France? The restart at Hungary. If is just F1 spelled backwards, so I try to avoid that game-- but it tells me that Lewis just needs to center himself. Because the pace and skills are as sharp as ever in my opinion. There just seems to be a lack of synergy between him, the car, and the team if we're being honest.The hilarious thing about this is Max has been practically faultless, Lewis has made mistake upon mistake, and he is still only 5 points off.
