Anyway, I have a feeling the McLarens could make Mercedes sweat tomorrow. Red Bull is typically pretty average at Monza but I guess we'll find out if that Honda PU is as good as advertised. Perez basically has a brand new PU so he should be in the mix.

Probably not but certainly in the region of 2 tenths breathing room. Given that recently max has looked to be the person with the advantage of a few tenths going into qualy, that's more than welcome

yea plus verstappen set his time on the softs, merc was running the mediums...
merc should win this comfortably, they have to, they really can't afford to fukk this one up. a 1-2 would be more than welcome right now which would mean:
lewis 3pts for sprint / 25 for win
bottas 2pts for sprint / 18 2nd place
max 1pt for sprint / 15 for 3rd place
should result in a 9pt swing in the championship for lewis. bottas really needs to bring his A game this weekend
Monza qualifying fukkery in full swing. Lewis doesn't play that game anymore after the original debacle, he'll take the lap over trying to get a tow.
Nearly half a second without tow and Max had track evolution. Not looking too bad for Merc.
Red bull may have to push to get in front of Norris.
