We know Woodward is out of his depth, but David Gill to blame for that, for ducking when Fergie did. And even before Fergie and Gill left, United were having issues of getting transfers over the line. They only got RVP because it was Fergies last season and Arsenal didn't want to lose out on money.
Thing is they have bought 2 CB's the previous 2 summers and Mourinho still wants more, without moving anyone on to make space, first. And tbh they had the 2nd best defence last season? Do they really need another CB? To me, both fullback positions need to be strengthened, another attacking/passing midfielder and a right winger.
