Yaya thought he should play more. Yaya still has technical ability but his legs are gone, anyone who watched him this season will tell you that. That's not Peps fault.
He was coming up, Yaya was World class he had no business taking the midfield reigns over him. Furthermore Yaya could do everything that Busquet's could do and more and if anything they both could have played together but he deemed him to be surplus to requirements after his performances in the season he had. It just doesn't make no sense.

Barca fans and press alike at the time wanted to know why he was warming the bench and Pep was vague at best. As a coach he has his favorites so irrespective there was no changing his mind and Manchester City profited greatly for it.
He just seems like an all round piece of shyt and it's a shame as a spectator to see that trio of Toure, Xavi and Iniesta broken up only after a season in which they won everything.

You saw the results, so in retrospect it made sense. Pep took over at Barca and shipped out so many players, because of the style of football he wanted to play. Not only that but he got rid of alot of egos. It's far from a race thing.
