So. Cal
Bryan Ruiz alone is better than the entire USMNT....but cats jumped on me when I said "if we had soccer in the hood we'd be dominating that too."

One of the biggest athletic talent pools on earth and we can't put together a side that doesn't struggle through WC Qualifiers. :snoop:
Tbf, this the first time usa struggled in the qualifiers since 2002 which indicates bad players and/or management

Isco doing Isco thing's again:wow:

Wish he came to Barca:wow:

They missed Isco a Messi Barca fan
Asensio Catalan
they let Thiago go
Kovacic and Kroos can easily be a Barca player

but instead

Spend 40m on Paulinho "Paulinho is common sense. He will do good in Barcelona, you will see" - Robert

Spend 40m on Gomes "Gomes will be future of Barca, you will see" - Lucho

Spend 35m on Arda "Arda is exactly what we need" - Lucho

Spend 30m on Paco "He is great prospect, you will see" - Robert

Spend 18m on Vermaleen "PL proven"

Spend 18m on 30yr old Mathieu "He is very fast. He will come good"

Spend 4m for Douglas "He is young and talented"

and now missed signing Goretzka and Seri. They could have go to Dybala, Lemar instead of wasting time for Coutinho that's not for sale

hoping for Dembele and Valverde tactics:francis:

The thing with France is that on paper they should be favorites to win the WC with Brazil and Germany being close by. However, with a coach like Deschamps they will never reach their potential. He needs to stop playing Giroud and have him come off as a sub. Start with either Laca or Mbappe and let them get chemistry/cohesion with the rest of the team before the WC.

Honestly this shyt is so frustrating because this team should be dominating every game.

When it comes to France there will always be the racial element as well. A lot of white French people don't like the fact that the national team is overwhelmingly of african descent. This is part of the platform for folks like marie le pen, who damn near became president with her ultra right wing shtick. There was a story a few years back about the French FA instituting quotas at the youth level to cap the number of black players. Cacs would rather risk losing than having an all african squad. When you see a guy like andre pierre gigac getting called up for the euros while he is playing in liga mx, giroud playing over lacazette, christophe jallets repeated call ups, florian thuavin getting called up before moussa demebele, koscienly being automatic at CB when you have varane, umititi, kimpembe, etc this is the reason.

La Liga chief wants UEFA to investigate Manchester City's transfer spending
La Liga wants UEFA to investigate Manchester City's spending and expand its newly launched probe into whether Paris Saint-Germain have breached financial fair play rules.

Spanish league president Javier Tebas said in a statement to The Associated Press on Monday that Abu Dhabi-funded City and Qatari-owned PSG are benefiting from state aid which distorts European competitions and "is irreparably harming the football industry."

Tebas wrote separate letters to European football's governing body on Aug. 22 requesting investigations into Man City and PSG.

This is like a drug dealer reporting their competition to the law because they're making more money.
