Every league goes through periods of Champions league domination, 2005-2010, BPL teams were reaching finals every year, one year you had 3 BPL teams in the semi-final.

Italian teams also had their period of domination where Juve,Milan n Inter were feared

At this current time Spanish teams are doninating but in the coming few years its gonna change.

Chelsea coming back next season, they on fire & Conte hasnt even built the squad he wants yet. Mourinho is building a team. Klopp building his team. Guardiola building his team. A lot of BPL teams are going through transitional periods

All the best managers manage in the BPL

Guardiola
Mourinho
Klopp
Wenger
Conte
Pochettino

Your boy Guardiola cant handle the premeirship, dude thought he was gonna come here & easily dominate.

It sucks watching a league where every season you know who is gonna win the league. BPL has 6 teams who can potentially win the league. Every week, every game seems like a final. Nothing more entertaining than that.

Chelsea could easily win La liga, Chelsea have always held their own against Barca. Barca has never dominated Chelsea whenever they met

Since the inception of the premier league only 6 teams have won in 24 seasons And Man U have won 23 of them. That's over half.

In that same time frame 5 teams have won la liga with Barcelona also having 13 titles and 6 different teams have won the bundesliga with Bayern winning 14 of those.
So you can stop with the PL being more competitive rubbish. That's yet more sky sports shyte to hype the league up. :camby:

Also lets have a look at the league tables.

As you can see the EPL in fact has the least competetive title race when compared with the bundesliga and la liga with a whopping 10 points separating 1st from second. So much for 6 teams being potential winners. :mjlol:

In Spain only 4 points separates the top 3, seems far more competitive from where I'm standing.

Stop living in the sky sports bubble mate the EPL isn't special, it isn't any more competitive than any other major league and isn't the best league in the world. It's just the best marketed. :yeshrug:

10 points dont mean anything, in the EPL have a good chance at beating big teams. 2012, Man utd were 8 points ahead in April. Man city ended up winning the league on the last day & last kick of the season

@Quarquar
Another reason I think Rabiot is hyped is because he's white. Certain parties in France are looking for that great white hope, though they already have that in Griezmann, he's the only white french world class player. The rest are of African descent.

I also think that's why Dechamps dumbass called up Giroud and Big Mac instead of Lacazette.
When he was coaching the French national team, Laurent Blanc was caught on tape saying they needed a quota on black players:francis:
I wish those brothers played for their ancestral African teams instead (like Mahrez is doing for Algeria, despite being born in France).
African soccer has really suffered over the last 20+ years with this phenomenon. They've regressed.
Back in the early 90s, everyone was convinced that an African team would win the World Cup within 20 years... Now they're nowhere near that:mjcry:

PSG Just embarrassed ligue 1, I was looking forward to seeing Lyon, Monaco and PSG Challenge in Europe and attract good players. Imagine if all the french talent did what Barca/Real/Bayern did and went to PSG to build the spine of their national team. Now PSG are tainted.

El Clasico final is corny the teams know each other to well. Imo, Barca would win too, they have a mental hold over Real unless Ramos gets a corner.
Clasico final is great for Barca and Real fans but for neutrals its corny, better to have Bayern in there.

PSG wanted to be the new Galacticos, it was never going to happen but they tried anyway...if anything shyt showed that Muenier/Marquinos are gassed. Silva is too old and Kurzawa :manny:
Barca said fukk it an went with a back three and Pique and Umtiti bullied them boys for the better part of 70 some odd minutes. PSG didn't help themselves either though.

And fair enough, especially Ramos is literally saving their season himself.

Once Conte figured out his tactics it wasn't close. Look at how Chelsea utterly dominate matches...

Chelsea also isn't playing european football either :laff: so this concept that they could go to la liga and dominate AND play European ball as well....nah breh? :laff: Costa was a good, but unrefined striker with Athleti...dude goes to England and becomes basically the best striker in the Prem in a season.

Really Chelsea could win La Liga? :heh: Breh, they wouldn't even split the ties vs Atleti or Real or Barca. They struggle against pacey players guess what...La Liga only has 4 of the 5 most dominant wingers with pace on earth. I think even Sevilla would give Chelsea a good run...

Breh, EVERYONE knew Chelsea was winning the league by the new year. So what are you talking about?

Conte hasnt even bought his own players & look at him sitting on top. His using the basic players he got. Chelsea clearly need defenders, we using a makshift defense with basic defenders

Barcelona has never dominated Chelsea, we have always handled them.

Nah breh, these casuals need to understand the gulf in class between La Liga and the BPL and with the rise of Atletico and Sevilla it's widening.

The only golf in class here is between Real/Barca and the rest of the league. The rise of Sevilla and Atletico are false dawns, similar to what we've seen before with the likes of Valencia, Deportivo, Villarreal, Athletic Club etc. Their best players get plucked off by Real/Barca/the big PL teams/Bayern/Juve, their manager fukks off, and they're never heard from again.

I may be wrong, and I personally would love to see an end the Real/Barca La Liga duopoly, but history has shown us time and time again to not get our hopes up.

Of the top six in the BPL only Chelsea and City might, might, might get a 4th place finish if they're lucky.

You don't really believe this do you? :pachaha:

The rest are mid table clubs. Top six La Liga in premier league would be a joke, imagine Arsenal getting smashed 5-0 four times in a season by Real and Barca.

As much as it pains me to say, Arsenal are a good side and (in a league system) would give many La Liga teams a run for their money.

Also, hilarious as it was, you can't really use two legged Champions league-ties as a barometer for how a team would perform against similar opposition in a league system, given the contrasting dynamics of the two types of competitions.

Every time a player goes from BPL to La Liga they only take the absolute best.
Henry. Was best BPL Player at the time.
Ronaldo. Was the best BPL Player at the time.
Bale. Was the best BPL Player at the time.
etc.

And by La Liga you mean just Real Madrid and Barcelona? :francis:

Also, let's be honest, it's not always the absolute best they are plucking from the premier league:

Torres - past his sell by date when Atletico re-signed him
Alex Song - Why Barca bought him, I still don't know
Vermaelen - perennial crock who Arsenal couldnt wait to get shot of
etc.

La Liga to BPL.
Yaya Toure. Was a reject.
Aguero. Wasn't allowed to play for Real and Barca didn't need him.
Silva. Barca didn't need him.
If Isco or James Rodriguez joins a BPL side I'm sure you'll know why.

Costa, Cazorla, Sanchez, Mata, Torres, Fabregas, Ozil, De Gea were players plucked by PL teams from La Liga in their respective primes, so its not all one way.

:manny:

If you're given a chance to start your life over but must choose the path of a footballer, you must choose a club you'll spend your youth career on but they cannot be a top 3 side in either the BPL or La Liga. Anyone who doesn't choose La Liga lost.

If you're a young footballer, there would be a lot of other factors that'll come into force when looking to sign your first contract, not just the prestige of the league.

Even if you come out of Sevilla's academy and then at 18 years transfer to the premiership, you are by default technically better than 100% of the league, at 18. At that point its up to you to develop physically and tactically.

:mjlol:

Breh, I agree with you that La Liga at the moment is a stronger league than the Premiership, but you doing the most with this post.
