Carlos Tevez may make more than twice the salary of Ronaldo and Messi in China
Carlos Tevez is about to hit the jackpot. The Boca Juniors star striker, who has also played for clubs such as Manchester United, Juventus and Manchester City, looks to be on his way to China where he is expected to become the highest paid player in the world.

Tevez is set to earn $762,000 per week on a two-year deal with Shanghai Shenhua per Argentine newspaper Clarin, taking home nearly $80 million if he completes the two-year deal, more than Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi currently make from their club salaries.

As the Independent points out, Ronaldo's current deal gives him a $379,782 wage per week. Messi's is $266,368. That is some serious cash, but Tevez's will double that in China.

At this point I'm just waiting for some Chinese club to make Blaise Matuidi the highest paid player in football :mjlol:

According to journalists on twitter, Germans outside of Leipzig don't really like RB Leipzig.

Can't really blame them, though.

A club, created solely as a merketing shill for Red Bull, comes from nowhere to disrupt the German footballing apple cart. :francis:
