The delusion amongst Liverpool fans in this thread :laff:

"4th place is a toss up between us and Man U"

"Man U midfield is still hot garbage"

:mjlol:

Liverpool defense is :scusthov: Ya won't have Suarez around anymore to just outscore teams. You placing ya scoring faith in Sturrridge and a 19yo Origi? :mjlol:

Our midfield is trash? You probably have been missing the rebirth of Fletch and the emergence of Herrera :wow: But you right, :flabbynsick: Gerrard and Henderson are better. :mjlol:

You nikkas will be back to 6th in no time :myman:

Never understood that about Man U fans. Joke about Hendo but oh wait Darren Fletcher's gonna turn back into a good player you watch. Let it go bruh. Daddy's not coming back.

Also we're still doing this Sturridge's a fraud thing? After 20 goals last season?

Between Sturridge, Dreem (still better than Januzaj), Markovic, Coutinho, Lambert, Suso, Lallana, and likely one or two more signings we'll do just fine.

The gist seems to be, again, that Sporting are keen for it to be common knowledge that Carvalho's price has dropped and the club are willing to do a deal... but they want the money upfront and without conditions related to performance. Carvalho would be a good option for Arsene Wenger's squad but the manager may be nervous about paying a big fee upfront for a player who has only had one great season, coming from nowhere to do so.

Sturridge will miss at least 10-15 games this season. Especially with LFC being in the CL. Thats why Rodgers should listen to Raiola and pay for Balo :yeshrug:

honestly, thats way too much money for someone who has only played in Portugal.

If it was a structured deal, Id be 1,000% behind it. Since they want it up front, I can see Arsene passing.

Agreed on the first part. It's the Jorge Mendes/3rd Party Ownership Tax. Think he has played under 50 games as well.

His fee is high but his wages will be reasonable. Khedira is the safer option but I don't know if he fits our requirement as much.

I think it goes through if Wenger wants to do it. He has never had concerns paying the required amount for talents he wants. Ox and Chambers fees were high. Some writer mentioned Wenger had three players at the top of his list, Sanchez, Carvalho, and Seamus Coleman. :manny: he pulls the trigger.
