United are in a bit of a quandry.

Ronaldo is a professional, but he is ultimately a liability to the club.

He has made it clear that he doesn't want to be there, but then the team is still set up to play through him. Ultimately, he is simply not the same player he once was. Plus United's attacking wings don't create enough chances. This means they will struggle to score goals this season.

You can't afford to bench him because it will be an issue in the locker room, he will likely undermine the coach and there will be the added external media pressure.

Best thing for both parties would be to get a team that's willing to pick him up. Chelsea are trying to sign Aubameyang right now. Would be on the phone trying to convince them to sign Ronaldo instead.

Tuchel isn’t mad

I don't care that it's two games in. Ten Hag takes some of the blame. I don't know if it was arrogance or naivete but to just ignore Rangnick like he did was a critical error. He was on the Blackfoot before he even started but didn't know it.

Bet he's wishing RR was here now.
Yep, it was said that he was going to learn the hardway. First one that said it was @Ukbrotha

Folks are trying to compare this to when Pep first joined the league. That Man City team with 30+ year old Clichy, Kolarov, Sagna and Zabaleta would get in our team, they still had David Silva, Kompany, Aguero (Even though him and Pep had issues at the start) , Sterling and them man, also including a competent board who got in them guys from Barca and brought KDB in January prior to Pep's arrival.

Think the biggest defeat Pep had was against Everton 4-0 during the mid-season.

To be honest, we aren't getting rid of this deadwood. Nobody will pay their wages. We can't even get rid of Wan Bisakka and Phil Jones.

And in order to bring players in, we would have to overpay.

Hell, Bologna are refusing to sell their players to us. We're dusted unless some miracle happens.:yeshrug:

Feel sorry for those Man Utd fans that are slightly younger than me.:mjlol:

most of the team cannot handle the pressure. they are scared to play.

ETH needs to promote academy players who are used to the scale of man utd and old trafford.

Have a 5’5 centerback brehs

How is this man starting a frail midfield with Fred, Bruno and Eriksen away to Brentford?!

This won't be good for Fred's World Cup chances :shaq:

It's still too early to label him Mateja Kezman of managers but ETH is not doing himself any favors :hubie:Hopefully he'll be able to overcome that Dutch arrogance but he hasn't reacted properly after Brighton loss. His list of faux pas is adding up.

Buying Martinez for 55m and not switching to five at the back :francis:

Trying to teach 31 year old De Gea to play libero :francis:

Starting the season with McFred to prove a point :francis:

Following up on that with Eriksen-Fred two man midfield :francis:

Not knowing Dalot is not a fullback, but a mediocre wingback at best :francis:

Playing Chong significant minutes during preseason and then being shocked you're short in attack when Martial went down :francis:
