The biggest difference is years ago USA players would go over to Europe at 25-28 years old, now they're coming up through academies at 17-20 years old.
The improvement and growth is there for sure.

That and they are regulars (not fringe bench players) plus benefiting from players who are dual nationals and benefiting from European academies and youth nationals and for some reasons whether they are not good enough to crack a senior European national team or by pure choice of wanting to play for the US.

US needs to stop trying to force their MLS agenda onto the world. Just because some players thrive in the MLS doesnt mean they should be getting caps on the National team. US needs to start playing players who are in Euro clubs even if they are B or C tier because those comps will forever shyt on the MLS comps.

I think the US had a great tournament
definitely the best Concacaf team by far

Mexico played negative football
Costa Rica got humiliated by Spain
Canada just looked lost out there
All true, but it's sort of like being the richest bum. That extra fifty cents will get you a coffee refill, but in the end, you're still sleeping under an overpass just like everyone else.

USA needs to send their strikers to the Eredivisie.

That league does wonders for strikers. Jozie Altidore was looking like Gabriel Batistuta out there :mindblown:

Even Pepi is scoring with Groningen :mindblown:
USSF has an MLS agenda. No chance of any quality strikers to be developed in the near future :francis:

and the one(s) we some what have ride the bench as subs :scust: t:
