I need a nice set-up for a Mystic Knight brehs, I'm an attack type dude but I need ranged support for flying enemies.

Sadly, MK isn't really built for that...That's why I keep a Ranger on the squad. But the build I used went: Strider until I maxed the vocation, Assassin until I maxed, then fighter, warrior, mage, sorceror, then MK. That gave me a lot of good augments and kept my stats well rounded, with the attack stat being the highest.

You get a 10% discount from shops if it's in your inventory.

When I first got the quest I only had the bronze idol and I gave it Caxton. Now I got all the idols so how do I give it to them to upgrade they shops?

And where is this Madeline person at? She has a shop too?

You already gave Caxton his idol so giving him another idol won't do anything. If you carry the gold idol in your inventory you get a 30% everywhere you buy stuff, so it would be better to keep.

As for info where to find Madeleine, click.

the thing that will help you out the most at the beginning is choose how you like to fight in games and choose that as your initial vocation...because you'll get a chance to change later

but at first you have no skills, so it's easiest to avoid dying by using a play style your comfortable with...if you like to get up close then use fighter...if you like stay back then use mage or strider....strider is kind of a combo...it's the one I went with, because it's more versatile.

also know that you're going to get your ass kicked a few times...it just happens...i wasn't prepared for that when I first got the game and I almost got rid of it...I was getting destroyed because I was wandering way off at a low level...once I figured out things though I was more prepared and able to wander more...just stick to the paths until you get a few levels under your belt

and beware of night (unless you decide to do like me and eventually become an assassin :smugfavre:)

dont venture out too far too fast...if it looks like it can kill you it can...you wont be able to take on certain monsters till post lvl 20.

Ogres in particular ( they out usually at night and look like hairy cyclopses) will kill the fukk outa you.

Don't worry to much about gear, level weapons first...if you can kill it before it gets to you you wont have an issue....DONT FIGHT NEAR CLIFFS!

and most of all.....roll with a full crew...don't even attempt to solo till endgame...Direwolfes alone will frustrate/kill you

- Make sure to check all the notice boards when you stop at places...you can get money fast by doing easy quests
- Don't mess wit the escort quests in early levels
- Create a cool pawn, if people like it they will rent it and you get lot of rift crystals in return so you can get better pawns to help

Not a lot of places to grind especially at early levels. You just get xp going from here to there fighting. If you are near the Encampment and walk along of the edges of the cliffs, keep looking down and there is a cyclops and some harpies. I was a strider so I just drilled him wit arrows until he died. He respawns every two days or something.

If getting money is a problem. There is a money glitch in Cassardis. What you do is go to Iola's shop and buy all the carrots you can carry for yourself and for each of your pawns as well.

Got to sleep for three days and all of the carrots will turn moldy. Got back to Iola's shop and sell all the moldy carrots. You can get 200 grand every time.

If you have big pawns that can carry a whole lot of weight, you'll get up to 400 grand everytime you sell the moldy carrots. It's a tedious process though but a good way to get a good of amount of that guap in short time.
