I haven't read a post in this thread but I'm watching the movie right now.

Did his uncle kill his dad in the dungeon because they were all high?

No, it's in the movie, hell its in the trailer.

In hamlet, hamlet's father visits hamlet in a dream and essentially tells him that dude killed him.

Well....fukk.
I just merged "The Northman", "Dr. Strange", and the Dr. Strange spoiler thread. :francis:

Apparently when you choose to edit a thread (for example, to unsticky it, which is what I did for "The Northman") it stays in that mode until you manually remove it. Which isn't how it was before.

So when I went to merge the two Strange threads....the other thread was still active in my moderation menu.

That movie was visually stunning. But naw man...it was weak and Reed Richards was showcased dumb as hell to Scarlet Witch. Tellin Black Bolt business when it couldve been used as an WMD. shytty writing.

Wakanda is the most powerful and most advanced nation in the world in the mcu (that was the point of it) and have sleeper cells all over.

There wouldn't have been a nuclear or global war.

Killmonger would have taken over and liberated black people and ruled with ease.

Imagine making a character who wants to liberate black people globally a non-redeemable villain, something that they NEVER do with Magneto. That's why it was trash. The movie should have been about Killmonger approaching T'Challa to liberate black people and both having conflict on the way to do it.

Did you miss the part where he was trying to buy T'Challa's country's resource for White America's Central Intelligence agency in Black Panther? How the hell can he be trusted? His handlers WANT what T'Challa's country have? T'Challa and Wakanda KNOW about the CIA that's why Shurri called him a colonizer. Yet T'Challa still revives him and let's him into his country to do recon and gather intel. I couldn't believe what I was watching. Meanwhile he DIDN'T revive his own damn cousin and was trying to throw him out as soon as he got in.

Steve Rogers (who vouched for Bucky) and Falcon didn't work for White America's Central Intelligence Agency.

They have ZERO interest in Wakanda or Vibranium. White America's Central intelligence agency on the other hand...
That wouldn't be Killmonger though..that would be a different character.

Saw the movie last saturday. I really enjoyed it. The fight scenes were a great improvement from the last Dr. Strange movie, and the villian Wanda came off far more threatening than the villains in the last movie. The horror elements were really cool and i feel like this should be the motiff for the next dr Strange movie as well. some criticisms i had was the Mordo plot from first Dr strange is still unresolved. The scenes with the alt Mordo don't count. Also alot of the stuff Wong has been up too since we last saw him were not addressed either. Also the mojority of the chracter development went to Wanda and Strange, every other character seemed a bit underutilized. At Wong should have had more to do. Like if we had seen him interact more with that Female Sorcerer who sacrficed her life for him, maybe that moment would've stung the audience more. But overall a fun film.
