I believe the idea is that they wanted to discuss it first because they are a council, and they wanted to understand why he was there. It wasn't a done deal that he was going to be executed.

Once it became clear why he was there and that Mordo was biased against Strange they softened up

Saw it for a second time. Docking it a half point from previous rating. I've concluded that they tried to pack too much into it. There were so many things in the movie that could have been a standalone on their own. I was still highly entertained and think it's a good movie but I just think they tried to do a little too much

I finally saw this movie today and I loved it. I don't understand all the negative talk surrounding this movie...it was piff.

I think i need to go back and watch WandaVision cuz when tf did Scarlett Witch get this powerful in the MCU?

I know she's OP in the comics but in the MCU that hadn't really been established.

Some things needed more fleshing out and better explinations like Wanda randomly having that statue of herself in that mountain. But overall I loved the movie, its visuals and what it has potentially introduced to the MCU.

it’s like we all know what this content is and I appreciate all the movies that try to stay real too it.

Black Adams suit is dope too and I appreciate the costumes in The Boys too

Well....fukk.
I just merged "The Northman", "Dr. Strange", and the Dr. Strange spoiler thread.

Apparently when you choose to edit a thread (for example, to unsticky it, which is what I did for "The Northman") it stays in that mode until you manually remove it. Which isn't how it was before.

So when I went to merge the two Strange threads....the other thread was still active in my moderation menu.

Just saw this for a second time in theaters. I gotta give it a solid C. It drags HARD at times. Christine saving Strange when the demons were tryna take over is laughable as well.

These mofos had ZERO sense of urgency. Didn't you just see that bytch kill the whole team back there? why the fukk are you slow walking to the book that will save everybody?

So you just saw her kill like 600 of your men at the temple. And you know if she gets the power she will destroy the entire world. but when she threatens to kill 4 more nameless soldiers you giving up the secret about the mountain? come on breh.

Why wouldn't she be trying to get a universe with Vision AND the kids?

This one isn't a knock on MoM but all movies that do this:

I said pretty much all these things at the theater. Zombie Strange pep talk and she gets up and literally goes “mm hmmmm” and Witch says “nuh uhhh”. And punches Witch into another dimension. A punch.
