Any of y’all ever been to Legacy’s Carryout in Fort Washington?

I just found out that they recently opened a second location in Waldorf. Since I live in the Clinton/Brandywine area, I don’t gotta go too far for their bomb ass food now Hopefully it stacks up to the original spot.

Also, another Fort Washington food classic. Y’all ever hit up Hovermales? It’s just off Livingston Rd and it’s been around since I think the 1950’s and it’s owned by this generational Cac family, pretty nice peoples the owners are. Get yourself a vanilla/chocolate swirl on a cone and their BBQ pulled pork sandwich and you’ll be

Y’all should also check out Miller’s Farm too.

This is why I love southern PG, we got some of the best hidden food joints in the County and the whole DMV along with some tranquil natural scenery and both the maritime and semi-country vibes

I worked in Upper Marlboro. Lived in Baltimore, but enjoyed the commute. Could place to live. Like you said, suburban/semi-rural/natural settings, but still only 20 mins from DC with no traffic.

Yeah that makes sense. Attractive white women get bagged early on by white dudes so they stay where they grew up, or move to Cali/NYC where looks can take you places. The unattractive ones may move to DMV where the type of jobs available aren't centered around looks.

You know that old saying that DC is “Hollywood for ugly people”? That applies to the Cacs outchea and the Cacs that be moving here.

I’m not really into Cacs but the ones up in NYC definitely look better on average than the Cacs down here.

Honestly, DC could easily hold way more people if they change the zoning and invested in public transportation correctly

Nah man, I live in NYC and am looking to move to DC/ Silver Springs in about 2 years. You def don't want the zoning laws out there to change to hold more residents. DC parking is already horrible, but I like the look of DC and the fact that the zoning don't allow big huge buildings everywhere.

DC has a Height Act as well as local zoning ordinances that prevent buildings from even reaching the height act limit. DC absolutely needs to allow larger buildings unless you’re okay with housing costs continuing to rise
