Hell yea man. When I started college in the area PG Plaza was like a the "upscale" hood spot. Me and my boys would head down there cause of University Towers and all the girls from Howard that lived there.

Now? Place is slowly but surely changing. The people I see getting on the metro from that stop aren't the same ones I was seeing 4-5 years ago.

Bruhhhh.....SE is the move.
If I had the money I Def would buy in historic Anacostia

Lol if I had the money I’d buy anywhere in dc :russ::mjcry:

Whole area got a lot of development coming. Nikkas in the construction game are eating heavily.

That whole area around RI Avenue Metro station is getting a face lift.

The public transport isn't keeping pace with the development though. The area near Hyattsville where Baltimore/Rte 1 turns into RI avenue (close to DeMatha) is an absolute nightmare as far as traffic is concerned.

Demographics of PG Plaza is changing as well. When I was in college that was a black strong hold. Now the residents are looking a little different
Yeah I stay over by H Street area and we’re supposed to get over 1500 new tenants in the next year from all the new buildings

By FAR Colombia, Maryland has the highest concentration of attractive women ive seen in the DMV

How come no told me this city was like this

Columbia...:patrice:

Idk broski, used to live out there a while back (like 10 years ago). Didn’t see anything that crazy out there. Might have changed as of late though.

I mean now Columbia is like a Silver Spring/Bethesda in terms nightlife. The city has also been built up a lot, especially around the mall. Might actually swing by one of these weekends.

:whoo: one of my boys from Jamaica put me onto this jerk spot on Georgia Ave called Move & Groove.

Gotta be some of the best jerk I've ever tasted in a hot minute. It is fukkin with Jerk Pit. That's how good it is.

Portions are huge. :ohlawd:

Is not even a restaurant in the traditional sense. It's like a little Bodega market wit a little carryout in the back. They only make jerk on Fridays/Saturdays

Any of y’all ever been to Legacy’s Carryout in Fort Washington?

I just found out that they recently opened a second location in Waldorf. Since I live in the Clinton/Brandywine area, I don’t gotta go too far for their bomb ass food now :noah: Hopefully it stacks up to the original spot.

Also, another Fort Washington food classic. Y’all ever hit up Hovermales? It’s just off Livingston Rd and it’s been around since I think the 1950’s and it’s owned by this generational Cac family, pretty nice peoples the owners are. Get yourself a vanilla/chocolate swirl on a cone and their BBQ pulled pork sandwich and you’ll be :wow:

Y’all should also check out Miller’s Farm too.

This is why I love southern PG, we got some of the best hidden food joints in the County and the whole DMV along with some tranquil natural scenery and both the maritime and semi-country vibes :blessed:
