Had kitchen and Kocktails last night it was good lots of options wasn’t too busy around lunch time.

Upper right is the Jamaican spot. (mid - the rice and peas don't even use kidney beans, the cheap bastids)

But in the lower left, is Habib/Chun Li's spot offering Jerk Chicken over rice, FOR CHEAPER. (Frog Legs and Sharks tho..,they gotta be clowning)

I plan on trying Fraiche, on 14th & park in Columbia Heights. Black owned spot that just opened, the menu looks good and have read positive reviews

America’s Fastest-Growing Suburb Isn’t Where You’d Expect​

A prominent finance website has found that an unassuming Southern neighborhood has recently experience massive growth within its borders.

"Interestingly, the personal finance and date website GOBankingRates has recently found that the fastest-growing suburban area isn't a residential neighborhood of Austin or Charleston. Instead, it's a relatively small community just outside Washington, D.C.: I.E., the quaint Virginian town of Woodbridge, roughly 30 minutes.

According to GOBankingRates' research findings, the Prince William County community had roughly 4,400 people making up its population in 2018. By 2023, that number had risen to a staggering 43,443 residents within its designated borders.

CJ Williamson, a researcher with GOBankingRates, revealed the website's data to Travel + Leisure, telling the travel publication, “Woodbridge is by far the number one fastest-growing suburb in America, according to our latest research. The DC-area suburb experienced a massive population boom of 887% between 2018 and 2023.”

It's bustling lol. Not sure what the borders are being used for that 4400 population number, but Woodbridge borders Lorton, Dumfries and Manassas. There's no way that large swath of land only has 4400 folks. My neighborhood and the neighborhood across the street have like 6000 people by themselves lol

But there are a lot of planned communities - single family and townhouse, as well as condos. Wild apartment complexes too

I drove out to Virginia from DC to try the soul food at First Impression in Arlington. Soooo good, but kinda weird that there's a mortuary across the street.

I saw RE(& Ms. Kim) down at the Capitol Riverfront/Navy Yard a few weekends ago. It was a part of the Petalpalooza cherry blossom festival…they had like 4 stages along the river. It was my first time seeing them live, took me back to elementary school fr. Almost forgot how many classics they made
