I'm seriously debating moving to Dallas.... just came back after being up there for Memorial Day weekend. I just might ask my cousin to put in a word for me at his job in Frisco.

I love Oklahoma, but I want a change....

Frisco is pricey but worth it.i stay in frisco and so much is being built around this area.id reccomend frisco or plano

DPD is making 50k from just their salary and that is not including the jobs on the side they get. I know an officer who makes 80k a year and could make more plus most that lived in Apts get free or heavily discounted rent. Money should not be an issue

Getting a job there would be half the battle. I have a cousin there who can show me the area(and where the hookups area). I have an issue that will make obtaining employment with quality pay an obstacle. I don't have a college degree. It's part of the reason I'm still in Oklahoma.

In addition to not having a college degree, I have a medical complication that would prohibit me from qualifying for DPD. I still have surgical hardware in my left ankle from a compound fracture suffered when I was 15. I won't be able to pass a physical examination, so these types of jobs have been beyond my reach.


I'm still looking though. Hopefully, something will turn up.

i still shake my head about what you told me about the casino in reunion. i wish we had more can-do people in this city. everytime i drive by that trinity river trash im reminded how much more dallas has to go to becoming a true global city. don't they got a river you can kayak right by downtown houston?

they been speakin that trinity shyt for almost 37 yrs

cowboys coulda been in the trinity project...

its jus funny ..the mariners seahawks..hell if the supersonics were still around..they all downtown seattle...not in puyuallap...tacoma..or renton...step outside..u see the space needle..mt rainer n the ferris wheel..

cowboys n rangers..u in the parkin lot..see judge roy screem..n the tx giant..

mavericks cowboys n rangers should be in the same area imo...

DFW is like the capital of white privilege, white entitlement, and white elitism.

My lil brother is a cop for DPD and there a lot of layers to why the chief is having so many problems. One being chief brown has fired and wrote up a lot of officers and some dont like that shyt. Also pay is a factor, surrounding cities like ft worth, plano, addison, etc are paying their officers more. Guys are also getting reasigned, its a lot going on.

North dallas, specifically skillman, audelia and forest lane was always crime infested but now a lot of young boys are shootin'. Last week I was at a medical seminar at presby of dallas on walnut and they now have DPD officers escorting employees to their cars because a lot of north dallas dudes are robbing doctors & nurses going to their cars.

DSR put out a album late last year trying to steal future's flow on every song. That shyt was horrible. Tuck is a real humble dude and put out a classic with purple hulk but after that universal deal they put out two shytty albums( tuck & tum's) and fell completely off. I know a cat who works with fat b*stard at a bakery plant. Career don't work and nikkas gotta get real jobs.

And I never understood why Dorrough started fukking with that goofy ass DJ on K104. It seems like Dorrough was blowing up on his own until he start messing with that goofy ass dude. It as if Dorrough career went into a free fall after hooking up with that goofy ass DJ.

Still surprised Cat Daddy never made it mainstream to something like MTV or VH1. His night show after Greg Street in 2003-2004 was legendary.
