Channel 8 announced they gonna do a segment every Wednesday night this summer called "Dying in Dallas" discussing the murder rate in Dallas & solutions to fix it. This the first story they did last night:
@rantanamo what are the chances this gets done? This city really needs to start thinking big again. That's one thing I really like about Rawlings, the man seems to be a can-do type of guy. Klyde Warren has been a success, this needs to get done too.

at arlington getting all the sports teams in dallas. @BigE214 why are they building a new ballpark already? BBIA is a beautiful ballpark. New one should have been built in downtown Dallas either in the Reunion district or across 30 from AAC. If they really want suite money that's where it should have put.

If Arlington wants to pay for stadiums, I am happy for Dallas to collect that hotel and restaurant revenue, because that's where people end up from out of town.

these young nikkas got the city turnt up. north dallas is HOT right now. 65 and 75 in the grove beefing causing a lot of the problems.
My lil brother is a cop for DPD and there a lot of layers to why the chief is having so many problems. One being chief brown has fired and wrote up a lot of officers and some dont like that shyt. Also pay is a factor, surrounding cities like ft worth, plano, addison, etc are paying their officers more. Guys are also getting reasigned, its a lot going on.
North dallas, specifically skillman, audelia and forest lane was always crime infested but now a lot of young boys are shootin'. Last week I was at a medical seminar at presby of dallas on walnut and they now have DPD officers escorting employees to their cars because a lot of north dallas dudes are robbing doctors & nurses going to their cars.
