I saw The Devil's Backbone yesterday. I liked it. I thought it wasn't as good as Pan's Labyrinth, but liked it a lot more than Cronos. Pretty easy to see why del Toro says TDB and PL are his 2 favorite movies.
Anybody picking anything up at the Barnes & Noble 50% off sale next month? Think I'm going for:
Scanners
Picnic at Hanging Rock
Red River
Ace in the Hole
Autumn Sonata
@Tuaminator
Tokyo Drifter from 1966
Really enjoyed this. From the western themes, to the colors, the editing, the music, the cinematography, so on and so forth. It wears its influences on its sleeve and you can clearly see what other films it has influenced *cough* Kill Bill *cough*
And I think that it is a good introduction into Seijun Suzuki for me. I tried to watch Branded to Kill a little while back and just didn't get it, but I'm gonna go back and watch it after reading his wiki page and watching Drifter.

I'm gonna throw Cléo from 5 to 7 out there as the best shot french film I've seen
Also fukk the Godard cameo in that movie
