Amarin Corp. PLC AMRN, +2.63% followed through on Wednesday, up 55 cents to $21.49 after popping 23% on Tuesday. An FDA advisory committee is scheduled to meet today to help decide the fate of the company’s fish-derived cardiovascular drug. While trading has been halted this morning in advance of the meeting, the chart points to a test of the July high in the $23.50-$24.00 zone next.

AMD, Amarin and Crispr are three stocks to watch for potentially higher prices

Someone on ST posted that the bid was $25 and the ask is $26.27.

I might be in an order to sell a few shares at $30 and $35.

I'm about to get a few shares.
I tried to get some shares of AMRN but the trade didn't go through.

I chatted with the help and apparently there was "low volume" today on that stock. Only 2800 shares changed hands.

Why does that matter? I can only buy stocks that have high volume?

Amarin was halted today because of the meeting I don't think any trading happened

I've been holding Cormedix since I bought it back in February (before the reverse split). I have lost a total of $459.38 on it so far...but I'm in it for the long haul.

The exercising of the warrants really screwed up the share price. I'm down about 35% in CRMD but I'm gonna average down a bit. The fundamentals have only changed for the better.

MTNB a company with a product similar to V is up 28% AH. Prolly due to the ADCOM vote. Another 20%+ day would be great. Id sell off a few more shares.

What’s the benefit of selling now vs. waiting for a buyout?

bo will be much higher than the current sp.

This is from a few pages back:

***From ST

According to ICER, 12.6 million Americans will be eligible for Vascepa each year.

From p.66 of ICER's 10/17/2019 report: "For icosapent ethyl, at the the price of $1,625 per year, approximately 4% of eligible patients could be treated in a given year without crossing the ICER potential budget impact threshold of $819 million. Clinical experts at the public meeting said that they believe the majority of eligible patients would want to be on icosapent ethyl."

0.4 * (eligible patients) * $1,625 = $819 million = 12.6 million eligible patients.

12.6M patients * $1,625 net annual price = $20.5B annual sales.

3x multiple = $61.5B company valuation = $172 per share

^^^^This shows a BO Value of $172 per share. Now, I have read different outcomes that places the BO Price as low as $25B to as high as $90B.

Whats pretty exciting is with expanded label (not to mention Alzhiemers and Cancer indications) Vascepa is suspected to surpass Lipitor as the best selling drug of all time. In 2000 Pfizer purchased the maker of Lipitor for $90B ($60B of that is estimated to be for Lipitor because WL had other products). So, even w/o adjusting for inflation Vascepa be at least as valuable as Lipitor was.

That give us a $60B BO for around $170 PS.

Question is, will a BO happen in early 2020, or later? Or will AMRN go at it alone, or will they be forced to go at it alone due to them not receiving an offer they think is fairly priced???

Yeah, this definitely could come down to how long someone would want to wait.

I’m more than likely in until they get a buyout.

I expected to see at least a double digit percentage gain by now. Some are saying the food news was priced in. We will see when market opens
