Ok finally catching up on some of the new Marvel debuts.

Amazing Spider-Man #1-#2 I like this direction. Peter was too smart and had waaay too many connections to keep going the broke down on his luck route. That HAD to be left behind. They just don't need to make him Stark JR. I'm interested in the Ock and Rhino sub plots.

Invincible Iron Man #1-#2 Bendis......This actually wasn't bad. Still don't know how I feel about the Doom stuff......The one thing that is bothering me tho is Tony. I guess they are now using the RDJr version. I just don't dig the wise cracking Stark.

Karnak #1 Ellis has me intrigued. We all know he's not staying onboard long but I'll enjoy the ride for now.

Uncanny Avengers #1 This was ok, Peter & Rogue seemed to be over the top with their displeasure or lack of trust in their new teammates. That felt a little off kilter considering both have worked with reformed criminals (one used to be a criminal) and rookies before. Rogue's Inhuman hate I get but it was a little too over the top.

Dr. Strange #1 The whole house call angle isn't bad. They have my attention for a few issues to see where this goes. Bachalo is perfect for art duties on this book.

Captain America #1 :Great first issue. It's great to see Sam not being a government stooge and the reactions of the people/SHEILD towards him for it. No lie it almost has a :mjpls: vibe to it.

Got a ton more catching up to do......
