I'm sure Marvel wants the Squadron to be this controversial wrestling heel in a sense, and that's a mission accomplished right there.

Them vs the Ultimates is inevitable. Black Panther vs Nighthawk is inevitable

I just wish the interior art in the book was better, a little edgier. the alex ross covers are the truth tho and capture the aura of the team.

When you think about it, there are a few parallels between "Old Man Logan" and "The Dark Knight Returns" -- mainly that both stories feature aged-up versions of no-nonsense heroes jumping back into action after a period of retirement. Now there's another, more visual parallel between the iconic DC Comics story and Marvel's upcoming series starring an elderly -- but no less active -- Wolverine.

X-POSITION: Jeff Lemire Teases Inhumans And Interconnectivity In "Extraordinary X-Men"

In a double-plage splash from "Old Man Logan" #1, debuted as part of this week's X-POSITION, artist Andrea Sorrentino pays tribute to the cover for the first part of "The Dark Knight Returns," with Logan leaping across a skyline, silhouetted against a lightning crash.





Surprisingly, that's not the only piece of upcoming Marvel art homaging the classic DC tale; as revealed in Marvel's February 2016 solicitations, Erica Henderson's cover for "Unbeatable Squirrel Girl" #5 references one of Frank Miller's internal splash pages from the series.





And last week's "Squadron Sinister" #4 featured a showdown between Nighthawk and King Hyperion, illustrated by Carlos Pacheco, that referenced the fight between Batman and Superman in "TDKR."





Marvel Comics' "Old Man Logan" #1 arrives in January.

Secret Wars still ain't finished yet.

Meanwhile Marvel just dropped a book (Secret Wars Too) featuring a story by Jonathan Hickman that's supposed to make light of the fact this shyt is so drawn out and struggling because he couldn't come up with an ending.

Anyone know the name of a batman short story, was in a comic, and penciled by Sean Gordon Murphy... basically he had clones of himself so he could fight crime forever, one of the clones wakes up to see the old batman... I'm trying to remember the name
