MARVEL
Uncanny X-Men was ass. Bendis shouldn't be allowed to write this book anymore because he has done nothing but awful work during his run on the X-books. And someone needs to rescue Beast from these shytty comic franchises he is stuck in and send him back over to the Avengers.
Extraordinary X-men was mildly interesting.
Hercules was decent.
Vision was surprisingly good and has me intrigued about where the story is going.
Still not digging Dr. Strange. Think I will give it to issue #5 before I decide whether to drop it or not.
I am officially done with Contest of the Champions. I usually like Al Ewing books but this one does nothing for me.
Drax sucked...CM Punk is just as unappealing a comic book writer as he was a pro wrestler.
DC/VERTIGO
Batman & Robin Eternal still has me interested and I like that we got some insight into the New52 Tim Drake that we hadn't been shown before in any of the Bat books or that shytty Teen Titans book.
I liked the Flash Darkseid War tie-in but thought the Superman one was weak.
Harley Quinn & Power Girl continue to be a fun book.
Midnighter was good and if the reveal is actually a legit reveal and not just the bad guy taking the place of the hero's loved one then my mind is blown.
Survivor Club continues to be delightfully weird as fukk.
Unfollow was great and hopefully people give it a chance.
Detectives Comics was surprisingly good...it read like a super-hero procedural with an ending that had me
MISC.
James Bond was really good. Maybe Ellis should take a break from the super-hero stuff for a while and concentrate on more stuff like this.
The Woods has been dragging for the past couple of issues and really needs to pick up the pace before I drop it.
Paper Girls was good.
We Stand On Guard was super violent which I loved.
A Train Called Love is still working for me. Its basically Garth Ennis doing his version of a romantic comedy.
