Failed to capitalize on its early success completely. How they went from books like X-O Manowar, Archer & Armstrong and Harbinger to the mediocre not even bad enough to be entertaining books they put out now is a goddamn shame.

Was wondering why people stopped talking about Valiant.

I mean... I still sorta kinda read it. But there was a time when you couldn't tell me that Valiant was coming for that crown.

But not only did this "big" crossover end in a way that makes NO sense

But their LAST crossover had the EXACT same plot, just with a different main hero, villain and a different Geomancer!

Okay, yeah. Reading New Avengers 1. Not liking the art. Thought the art would be better with not-so-heavy inks. Makes it a bit too angular.

It's GREAT having Songbird as an Avenger finally. Avengers Forever came out in what... 1998? Can we PLEASE get Genis-Vell back now?

Bonus points for the Doctor Who reference. So I guess it makes the first issue average.

Funny enough the indies I was talking about are from Vertigo and Boom. I'm in the minority online but I honestly believe the big 2 put out more good books on the average than Image.

I will be getting the new issues of Lazarus, Nailbiter and Paper Girls tho

Howling Commandos TOTALLY shocked me. It was funny, action packed, lots of interesting sub plots. I can't wait for issue 2.

Got some more DC trades. Barnes & Noble is having a Buy 2, Get 1 Free sale right now. I know I could've bought these digitally for cheaper, but I would probably never read them that way.
